I listen to rock (and I dance to rap usually), I don’t think its evil, and I definitly worship a devil (there isn’t really one, only evil spirts, actually, I’m agnostic, but w/e). “We must stop all rock and rap before it is too late." Whats gonna happen? You know what, man, its music, one of the most popular art forms in the world. Music allows humans to express themselves emotionally. I think you should respect that man.

“real christians” like you are the reason nobody in this society chooses to follow christ anymore & why everyone thinks christians are stuck up. i dont think athiest people or people of other religions would really even care about what you had to say. God said his greatest command was to love others as yourself. i think alot of christians have become pharasies & forgot that command. it kinda seems like you’re trying to hard to do what is “good” but really you forgot the main purpose which is Jesus ... which is love.i dont think excluding yourself from rap & rock is right either... cos then you would have to exclude yourself from the rest of the world as well. yeah, dont get addicted to it, but dont exclude yourself either. besides, christian music & c28 christians have become so cheesy anyways.

I am a christian and I believe in Jesus Christ and I also believe in Heaven and Hell! I think alot of the statements and comments that are being made are really ridiculous and they don’t make any since. The bottom line is that we are all born into sin no matter who we are or what religion we choose. God gives us choice and it is up to us as individuals to make the right decisions. No I, do not believe that all Rap & Rock is bad..however we should moniter what we choose to listen to and talk to God and ask God what is right and wrong for us. If you are a true believer and you walk in what You believe in God will lead you in the right direction..No one is perfect except GOD! All we can do as people is try our best to be the best and ask God if what we are doing, and listening to is pleasing to him. Only God can judge so, remember ask God for Guidance not just for the type of music you are listening to but, for everything you do and say and listen to. Jesus is the way the truth and the light..And God Bless everyone No matter what you decide to do because ultimately each and everyone of us will have to answer to God individually, We not going to the kingdom with a group of friends or with our Mothers or fathers..we have to face judgement alone..the same way we came here. Concerned Christian, what you wrote was an uninformed generalization based only on prejudice. Rock and rap are forms of music just like opera and classical. They are composed in the same manner and both require talent and practice. A composer could just as easily put satanic or violent lyrics in opera as rock and roll. It would never sell, but my point is that rock isn’t evil, the satanic lyrics are. When there is something evil in the lyrics, the song is evil. When there is nothing wrong in the lyrics, there’s nothing wrong with the song. Don’t blame the genres for the problems in this world, blame those people who abuse them. Many do not, and much of the rock and rap that exists is good in the Lord’s eyes.

You know, religion sounds great and everything, right up to the point where they start telling you to give them money. WTF does God need with your sacrificed money? Why do I have to pay 10% of my earnings to tithe a church or I’m “going to hell”? Jesus held church meetings and gods word in the streets, grass areas, rocks, dirt etc. People gathered to listen to their believed prophet without the use of money, gold, Euros, pounds, etc. It seems religion is more of a Corporation now more then ever. It’s a bunch of BS is what it is.
I don’t know where you get your information, but you don’t HAVE to tithe. The book of Malachi ENCOURAGES us to tithe. Unless your not saved, God isn’t sending anyone to hell. What does God need with YOUR money?? It’s GOD’S money! That money goes to people who need it more! If your church is keeping it, then tithe to a more honest organization.
