why wont god help me

Because god isn’t real. The bible was made by a guy who hear a voice and they say that’s god and today we put those kinda people in the mental institution, there is no proof godexists either although there are miracles and don’t let religious people make you believe there is proof. Even if god existed why should he bother with answering prayers? god doesn’t controll your life, you controll your own life so if you want god to help you with a problem why not figure it out for yourself or something? we are in controll of our lives, our futures, what we happen and we get consinquences for our actions if it’s good or bad. WE are in controll, not god. Nobody knows how life existed either, just a bunch of theorys.

So, let’s just take the man on the moon thing. Did you actually see, feel, smell, hear, or taste it, man landing on the moon? But you believe man was on the moon, right? So why do you doubt religious matter? Have faith, I know some people have less faith than others, but can you at least try? Can you try to have faith that God exists? Please. Then God may work in your life, and help you.

The Bible was written by MANY authors, not just one. That is the significance of the Bible. There were about 40 authors who wrote the books of the Bible, and yet when those books are put together, it flows together, it has a message coming through, it doesn’t contradict, it is clear, and it is inspiring and live.

umm bad example... cause we can infact see the man on the moon... since there are such things as video cameras... not to mention the people themselves who are still alive... you can even go touch a moon rock if you want to...

now if somewhere you have a home video that was made by god that shows heaven and all that crap... then please post it...

Agreed. I posted something like that months ago. I’m glad there are more agreements. You see SWC, the fact that we can actually watch people on the moon is pretty extreme. That fact that you cannot prove the bible is true, is not very effective.

you people are fools to believe so strongly in a christian god there are just as many blindly followed religions as christianity with self fulfilling prophecies that have come true, they all preach the same thing while using fear and guilt to force people to their way of life, religion has nothing to do with god it’s just a way to expand your culture, civillization rules 101, why do you think christianity adopted so many pagan rituals from the greek religion....so it coud expand, blind faith is a horrible thing blind religion is responsible for more deaths and atrocities than any other force on earth, religion will always be a misleading way to manipulate and kil people as long as fools like youblindly obey, if enough upstanding christian men said they spoke to god and believed we should go to war you fools would be right behind them the whole way.... oh wait you aready are, the world will be a much better place when your kind are gone, but that will never happen so enjoy your religion while people like me pretend to be one of you and manipulate it for our own purposes

Just to let you know that there are over 600 religions in this world . What are you going to do about it ?? Sure you are entitled to an opinion , but your opinion is never going to change things the way that they are . Deal with it .

But as were expressing opinions I could say its pretty sad that you believe that “religion has nothing to do with god” that you believe “blind faith” to be a horrible thing and that you think that its a “misleading way to kill people”

Yeah, that was kind of harsh.

It is true that many people died in the hands of the “Church”. But that was back then when Bibles weren’t as common as they are today. “Love your enemy”, do you think that all those people who killed “in the name of Christ” knew that Christ himself said this?

They weren’t following Christ, they were following Popes, and Bishops who only cared about wealth and power. Religion didn’t use them. They used religion.

Here’s something I learned recently that I want to share:

We are a spirit, we have a soul (mind, will & emotions) and we live in a body.

I never used to 'feel' God. But recently I’ve learned that the way I feel God is in my spirit. I can’t explain it except to say that when I’m in real emotional pain - I feel it in my spirit, and that’s when God is comforting me.

I’m not 'religious'. Religion, to me, implies rules/traditions that I have to obey in order for God to love me. My God is a person, and he leads me by his Spirit who lives inside me.

why is one so unhappy? god is in all of us giving us strength. we are all one and the angels,spirits, undead,or whatever you believe in offer the signs that they are always about. even the evil, but only heart can overcome.

Yeah Christianity does demand a pretty big feat actually. Blind faith. To me at least, it’s a large step to believe in something that will not prove itself to me. Imagine believing in that your whole life only to find out that you were wrong the second you die. It could be a huge waste of time and there is no proof to support it’s claims. And no, the bible is certainly not proof. It’s a piece of material with more unprovable writings.

ya know what they have a point dont spend time praying and hoping something will happen go out there and do something about it if ur homeless dont go praying for food and money go get a job buy food and make a living like the rest of the world (exceptions if ur sick with terminal deseases then if it makes u feel better pray) but if its money love or other problems get off ur lazy ass and fix it!

You could pay someone to hypnotize you into believing your truly happy. In fact, psychologically, there are things called memory blocks and it’s possible to get professional hypnotists to get rid of your bad memories and make you think you are happy.

Wow .. lets believe in anything .. anything that we could grasp on so that we can avoid the fact that we MIGHT actually be happy in our lives ?

No Offense BC , but I don’t think anyones going to go through the trouble of paying a professional hypotists to get rid of bad memories so that we think that were happy . I’m not saying its not possible but .. wow ? Thats life for you , bad memories are apart of life . You can’t avoid everything that your not happy with because theres always going to be something ..

Ever see the fututama episode when bender meets god? bender got to be “god” and said to the big man “i tried to help them, and i ended up hurting them, i tried doing nothing and it made it even worse” GOD in reply told bender the people become to dependent on god and bad stuff happens, and when god does nothing something bad happens, AND WHEN GOD DOES THE RIGHT THING NO ONE WILL BE SURE GOD DID ANYTING AT ALL.
