UBER 1337 Poster Rep: 1 Joined: 27 Apr 2005 Posts: 2,116 OFFLINE | Right you are. I was talking abuot this with SWC once. I remember saying that we can only use our senses to perceive things. I can’t smell, taste, hear, feel, or see god. Thus, I have no way of establishing his existence.

Satan, God’s enemy has flaws. For God is the centerpoint of humanity, and everything Good, Righteous, Full of Joy, Loving, Peacefull comes from him. From God came something magnifisant- Lucifer. Lucifer, out of free will became proud of himself, thus seperating from God’s authority. Satan was cast unto earth for his disobedience. Satan decieved man and woman- Another wonderful work of God’s hands. Satan decieved Adam and Eve causing them to sin, thus bringing evil into the world.
God is perfect, Satan, and anything pertaining to him is not. Is this so hard to understand?

Nah I understand what you guys mean .. thats where blind faith comes in . I mean I’m sure you guys have been over this a few times in all the other religious debate topics , but that is what it comes down to .
Hm for an example .. back in the days of when Jesus was on earth , there is this story in the bible . Okay so Jesus was wandering the streets conducting many miracles where people can SEE them happen , and then they believe . This man had travelled far and came running up to Jesus crying saying that his daughter was dying and if she could please be healed . He invited Jesus to his house .. and Jesus looked at him and basically told him if he believed that his daughter would be healed then so be it . (meaning Jesus wouldn’t have to go the house to heal her) He said he believed .
So the man went home and sure enough his daughter came running out the house shouting , “father I’m healed!!" .
So in this story , the man already BELIEVED that his daughter would be healed .. his faith in Jesus was so high that it wasn’t necessary for him to go to his house .
This is a case of strong faith . Something thats lacking here ..
I mean I think if you guys were there back in the day where Jesus would lay his hands over the eyes of the the blind and then when he would take them off they were able to see you would stand there and be like , “no lets take him to the hospital and run tests I am sure theres a “logical” explanation as to why his eyesight had come back."
You say you have to see to believe , but I think that even if Jesus were to come and perform miracles in front of you guys you STILL wouldn’t believe . I mean .. there just wouldn’t be enough PROOF for you guys ..
Thats why the man in the storey was blessed so much for his daughter to be healed , because he believed , he had faith , and he prayed , and so it was as he believed .

But see, you can’t prove that Jesus did those things. And doctors can and do every day. Not only that, but if god was fair, we would all have the privelege of seeing him perform miracles. It would have cause more people to believe in Christianity causing more to go to heaven. It gave them a better opportunity.

GOOOGLE_QUEEN Guest | Yes see but God is not about going out and proving himself , he wants follwers and true believers to believe WITHOUT seeing .. if all you want is proof proof proof then so be it , you are about to venture through life seeking proof and when miracles may happen infront of you you still may not believe ..
So.. lets say that you see someone blind , then someone coming up to them , laying their hands over their eyes and then when he takes them off their able to see .. wouldn’t you think that a little weird ? And that him laying his hands upon his eyes had SOMETHING to do with him getting his eyesight back ??

He still today is performing miracles and showing a better insight .. through prayer you ask , and if you are humble and have faith you shall receive .
It happened.. they even wrote it down for us in the bible throughout the hundreds of years .. for us many generations down like today to read , learn , remember and have faith .

No, as a god I think he should be a very fucking patient being. And I think he should be FAIR and JUST rather than stupid UNFAIR. How the hell am I supposed to enjoy life if I feel obligated to do POINTLESS SHIT throughout all of it?

When he did, the angel (messenger of God) told him that they were struggleing with satan in order to get the message down to him. They had to send Micheal to help Gabrial push satan aside and get the message to daniel. Now I ask you- Who is unfair, God or Satan. DEAL or NO deal?
