It would. And you have an invincible shield, except for against one type of enemy. Cole has an anti T’lan laser. That would to alot. And the game is really hard.

how is it hard if you are invincible... oh wait let me guess every enemy you face just happens to have the only weapon that can hurt you... man that is pretty lame if you are coming across the same damn type of enemy every single time you play the game... and what is he only weapon that can hurt him...

No, you must raise the shield, and it easier (but you take damage) to shoot the soldiers with a gun. And the soldiers shoot back. And you can raise the shield and close in on them if theres only one. But the other enemies, well, heres an example: You crawl under a collapsing thing, there is a bullet-proof baddie on the other side waiting for you. You crawl out, and he kicks you in the face, you reel over backwards and fall over. You get up and block just as he swings at you, his attack is blocked, You give him two left jabs and a right straight, he falls over and dies. And there are a few kinds of enemies, invisible ones, huge ones, dual-arm-cannon wielding ones, and a few different kinds of normal ones. And sometimes you five or more at one time. That is very hard. And some of them block! The T’lan laser is the only weapon that can hurt them besides your bare-fisted fury.

how powerful is the T’lan. Cus unless it can rip through walls and melt tanks, its not a threat to samus.

So how much damage does the shield actually absorb... plus it seems that he actually has to get close to do much damage which is once again gong to be a problem...

wow, if punching’s all he got, then samus doesn’t have to worry about anything.

i really wish people would look at samus not from a FPS, but in real action. if samus can jump really really high multipultimes, then she obviously can move with massive agility. like with small quick bounds from left to right, and even jump way over him with ease, aswell as adding flips anytime she can for style.


just look at the metroid prime hunters website, click on the “hunters” button and watch all the bounty hunters untill u see samus fighting a space pirate. thats her showing off.

He can jump as high as Samus can. If she jumped over him (double jump, metroid prime) he could jump and slam her down. Think, being hit by a beetle x twice the damage. He can High Kick someone so hard they fly 8 feet up and three feet back. He can uppercut so hard they fly three feet up and 8 feet back, in fact, one strong right straight punch can knock you 4 feet back, one punch, not a combo. (I can do combos, sometimes the ones I come up with, the game won’t let me do in combat)

umm yeah well he can punch we got that...

Samus can shoot lots of crap like.... big blasts... lots of missles... and tons of plasma... hmm guy who can punch or chick who who can use almost every type of weapon known to man...

I think I’ll stay with Samus...

or the nuke there is always the nuke....

The way i understood how the shield works is that the anti t’lan lazer is the only thing on the same frequency. Odds are, the way the wave beam works, it would just go straight through the shield and kill him. Or, she just kills him before he raises the field/object.

also, he may be strong, but have you ever tried punching that is harder than diamond? He would probably hurt himself more than samus.

And the wave beam wouldn’t go through it. If a nuclear missile won’t get through. The wave beam won’t.

A simple punch isnt gonna do much to samus. If anything at all.
And I dont think the T’lan is much of a threat either...
