Ok, but from a religious standpoint, the only way to debate anything about monkeys really, like pro or against evolution of monkeys into humans.
I say, monkeys are just animals. Humans are God’s special creation. There is no tie between the two. Evolution is false, I’m writing an essay on that now.
yeah except that they are like 90% similiar to us... or is that just the evil satan possesed scientist who doesn’t know what he is talking about... too bad they have proven that we are similiar to every other animal on the planet... It’s kind of disgusting how you justify our cruelty to every other creature on this planet by saying that cause God made us that we are better than everything else... ---

Not quite, about half way done with the first draft, then edit, revise, type up, and post! Soon, hopefully.

Oh, I was going to address that in my essay, but I guess I can share now.
“Many evolutionists have tried to argue that humans are 99% similar chemically to apes and blood precipitation tests do indicate that the chimpanzee is people’s closest relative. Yet regarding this we must observe the following:“Milk chemistry indicates that the donkey is man’s closest relative." “Cholesterol lever tests indicate that the garter snake is man’s closest relative." “Tear enzyme chemistry indicates that the chicken is man’s closest relative." “On the basis of another type of blood chemistry test, the butter bean is man’s closest relative."" [Source: Morris, Henry M. The Twilight of Evolution, Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 1967, pg.362]
So, who are we really related to? The monkey? The donkey? The chicken? The garter snake? Or the butter bean?!? Lol!
How about, none of the above?
Oh, and my faith does not give me an excuse to treat animals with cruelty. In fact, we treat animals like they are all special creations of God. --- “Dying men have said, “I am sorry I have been an atheist, an infidel, an agnostic, a skeptic, or a sinner”; but no man ever said with his last breath, “I am sorry I have lived a Christian life." “The wages of sin is death- quit before payday.“ | | | 02 May 2006 12:08 am |

Your talking about specific chemicals and nutrients that certain species have attained. It’s like me saying, oh I have red blood, and so does that snake. OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! It’s my long lost brother!!!! --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you. | | | 04 May 2006 01:16 am |
UBER 1337 Poster Rep: 0 Joined: 03 Feb 2006 Posts: 1,149 OFFLINE | NO, not what they attained, what God gave them. And it’s mainly enzymes and chemistry tests. But that’s what evolutioists are using, blood precipitation tests and chemistry tests, to say that the monkey is their, “long lost brother” or ancestor! So I guess their ideas are just as bad as Henry Morris' are. It’s the genetic code dude... we are similiar to them on that level...if you just replace a few human genes with some other ones that i probably couldn’t pronounce then you don’t get a human anymore... you get a monkey... ---

Right, a monkey that can speak, understand language, write, read, comprehend, have moral values, knows how to love and care for others, etc... I don’t think so. There is more than just some genes separating monkeys from humans. Yeah actually, between us and a chimpanzee, there is like 2% genetic difference. Within that 2%, there are things like vocal cords, abstract thought, and etc. And obviously, they are very humanlike. And chimps and other animals DO care for others. Moral values are part of abstract thought. They are just subjective. --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you. | | | 07 May 2006 12:26 am |

The Diabolical One... Rep: 3 Joined: 09 Jan 2006 Posts: 5,320 OFFLINE | that is one of the parts separating us... i didn’t say they were exactly the same otherwise they would be humans... and yes some monkeys can probably read and understand human terms... also they probably don’t have the same vocal cord capabilities but they do indeed speak and make noises just not the same ones that we make... ---

Yeah, chimps teach their kids things, they learn to use tools, they can communicate with one another, and they care for their kids and other people if they have grown close to them(moral). --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you. | | | 21 May 2006 01:03 am |

.. I think thats the point , are we all supposed to stand up and clap now ? So were similar , but you know we have VERY similar dna as whales too .. so what ?
Who really cares theres things similar and theres things that arn’t .
And for those who think we are sooo similar to monkeys and think that we 'evolved' from them or whatever , go ahead . Its totally your choice if you want to believe that your generations from long ago were once , in fact monkeys. --- Don’t take life too seriously. You’ll never get out alive.
