yeah he can he can slice through anything 1. use time stop then go and slice them in half before it runs out.

aint gonna work very well when dante uses quicksilver...(they cancell each other out)
and hes just going to bounce off arkham...
and once his little time stop ran out arkham would just grab him and tear him apart or kill him with a phatom strike...

he cant slice through samus and master cheifs armour and sheilds we already got through that and it doesnt stop thinking so dante could just use quicksilver and cancell it out for himself then sonic will just run out meanwhile dante can go much longer with quicksilver so when sonic ran out dante could just grab him and slice him in half...

and vergil could so easily counter that its not even funny, you obviously havent seen what he does to dante in that one cutsence have you...
