Regular Rep: 0  Joined: 28 Feb 2006 Posts: 201 OFFLINE | In a recent press conference Microsoft and Bungie denied the rumors of there being a “Halo 3." As of now, i know that Bungie is working on a project called “Forerunner." Even though “Halo 3” has been denied that doesn’t mean there couldn’t be a “Halo 3: Forerunner” or some other title like that. How could a game that doesn’t even exist (according to Bungie) get so much hype? I think that if Bungie doesn’t give the people what they have been waiting for then there may be unrest in the online world of Halo and Halo 2!

Most rumours are made up by people and then spread rapidly so they are belived to be true.
e.g. the ps3 being good is a pretty funny rumour.

Why would Bungie do something that Stupid? Halo was a big hit! Why not make as much money as they could?

If I were to make a game and call it Halo 3 i could buy the rights to it. It was released in a press coference with Bungie and Microsoft. This is a quote from Bill gates “As of now, Bungie is not currently working on a project so called “Halo 3”." Google search it... it was in the April edition of Game Informer. ---

I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m saying Bungie is stupid to get rid of Halo. They would make a killing with Halo 3.
