mario can:run slow,punch,kick,throw fireballs,jump sonic can: run quick,spin,jump,spin jump,insta-sheild,spin dash,homing attack,sheildboosts,fire attack using the fire sheild,sonic wind,time stop,chaos control,bounce attack,skid attack,samorsalt,magic hand using the magic gloves,fire skid,punch,kick,upper kick,heavy kick,sonic wave,sonic eagle,block,kick,blue tornado,triangle jump,block,heal,flying strike. and sonic was made to be better than mario.
