"Where is your evidence of design in nature? Name one thing, organic or inorganic. Organic would be nice since evolution only deals with organic matter."

Evidence? All around you in nature! From that grass to a flower to the fish to you! It’s all evidence of Creation, of God’s intelligent designing. Look at a single cell!

And that example with buildings coming from nothing really does show evolution. It’s a good example. So, twin towers came about by chance, unguided processes? I don’t think so...

Do buildings reproduce? Does the building produce millions of blueprints of itself that are slightly different from the building. Are new buildings produced from two older buildings mixing blueprints?

Dembski uses forensics, archaeology, anthropology, and the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) as examples of other scientific studies that detect design. These scientific studies use similar criterion to classify design as Dembski does. One flaw in Dembski’s argument is the lack of a reference or prior information of living organisms that are designed. SETI uses humans as a reference for detecting design or artificiality in space. Does Dembski have a living organism as evidence that is known to have been designed? ID cannot possibly determine design without a reference. All scientific studies mentioned above involved in design detection use examples of known design in order to differentiate the designed from the non-designed (Pennock, “Mystery”). They essentially use comparisons between known design and known non-design, or works of nature. Since there are no living organisms that are known to be designed, inference of design cannot be made.

Where are your known designed living organisms SWC? Everything? If it is everything, you have no evidence to conclude that is designed because you have no basis of comparision. What’s your reference? Have you seen a designer put together living organisms?

I would argue that a pepsi can, car, or building CANNOT be produced randomly. All three have a function for a seperate entity (humans in this case). They were specifically designed for the human. If you look at all inorganic matter that has natural formed, not a single one has any function for another entity, or for itself for that matter. All organic matter has function for itself but not for a seperate entity, with the exception of co-dependence, but the primiary function still for the organism and not others. However, something like the banana that fits into our hands may seem to have function for a seperate entity. But we know that the banana evolved for its own good and NOT for the convience of the human hand (or ass).

Plus the word “Pepsi” is distintly human. If if natural elements could assemble the word, the word has no meaning without the existence of humans and the English language. So, the word Pepsi could not have been formed randomly but the something that looked like the symbols P, E, P, S, I could have been assembled, but they have no meaning unless a human gives it meaning. No function when assembled randomly.

I somewhat have to agree with this post.

Does the Universe produce millions of blueprints of itself that are all silightly different? Does the universe reproduce?

About the buildings thing, it was a comparison to your beliefs.

All of nature is the work of God, the Creator. I can’t compare with other things, because there are no things in nature that came about by chance, random processes. I didn’t see God create everything. But this is the conclusion you can draw, from looking at nature, and observing all the facts and seeing the complexities of everything in nature. I mean, how do you explain that a male sponge, a brainless organism in the ocean, knows exactly when the tide is right to release its sperm into the water. Then the female sponge, perhaps half a mile away, knows that the sperm are coming, and releases her eggs, at the right time, which are then fertilized there. The sponges don’t have brains! Could random, chance processes do this? I don’t think so...

You’re right, the banana didn’t evolve for our good, it was CREATED by God for our good. God did it. Not evolution. But bananas have potassium and other fruits have perfects vitamins and minerals for us, and they fit right in our hands, how could chance produce this? Or look at the flowers, how they are symmetrical, in design and colors and petals, could chance do this? I don’t think so...
