This is my belief system. And I will wait to hear from some of you before I explain further. --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you.

1. Religion is an excuse for discrimination.
2. Humans are entirely dependant on other things
3. Humans do not have the mental capacity of other creatures of much more simplicity. Termites build mounds 20 feet high and 100 feet across. In relative perspective, that is 1 mile high and 5 miles long. --- "We can’t solve problems using the same thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein

We build skyscrapers. And we run somewhat off of thought. Animals run mostly off of instinct. --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you.

Plus the true depth of our lack of self control (which I still say is different than Selfishness), you might want to start studying Astrology, and not the newspaper kind. I recently gave the Revered a good Introduction book on Astrology, he is currently flipping through. ---

Anomynous_person Guest | I hate climbing in this debate, but here is something you should chew on-
If everything is subjective, your theory is subjective to. Therefor you believe in something that was based on preconcieved ideas and not fact. And I thought that you couldn’t believe in something that is not factual- Something that doesn’t have proof.

We are selfish by nature to some extent, but it’s not good to be selfish, we should strive to be caring for others. It’s hard to do, even for me, but the world would be better if we did. And if we weren’t even a little selfish, we would die of hunger or something to the sort, and you would think, “I don’t want to die”, that’s selfish a bit too. So, I believe, we can strive to be unselfish, but by our nature we care for ourselves to keep us alive, which you could call a small form of selfishness.
“2. We don’t have choice, just the illusion of choice."
We do have a choice and free will. It is the real free will, not some illusion. You choose what you are going to type up next in response, that was your own choice, or was it not?
“3. Everything is subjective."
No, there are certain things which are objective, but some people just don’t want to accept it. --- “Dying men have said, “I am sorry I have been an atheist, an infidel, an agnostic, a skeptic, or a sinner”; but no man ever said with his last breath, “I am sorry I have lived a Christian life." “The wages of sin is death- quit before payday.“

Anomynous_person Guest | Objectivity cannot be defined by one person in particular. Objectivity is the truthfullness of it all, objectivity is factual. Real subjectivity is based on ideas that came from objective thought. It is impossible for EVERYTHING to be subjective, for there would not be a neutral(or global) feeling to build off of. Everything must have a fulcrum or center-point, that center point is God.

I’m waiting for proof, not religious beliefs. And no, it wasn’t my choice. My decisions are based off of everything that has ever happened to me and my genetics, which cause my body to perform. I don’t have choice, I do what I think will be most benificial. As do all of us. --- The farther you question, the more they will hate you.
