Thaqt’s why we shouldn’t be having Goku vs anyone outside of Dragonball!!

Anyways, here’s my calcuations still-

Goku was travelling at Mach 17 on the snakeway.

(from other forums)
""""
1,000,000 kilometer = 621,371 miles. 20 kilometer/hour = 12.427 423 845 mile/hour. Going at 12.5 miles an hour would not equal 2 days. It would be 2071 days. For it take 2 days he would have had to be going 13,000 mile/hour (mph) = 20,921.472 kilometer/hour.

13,000 mile/hour (mph) = Mach 17”"""

Now lets see, Goku was around powerlevel 8000 when he was going at mach 17. Now everybody here knows with training and every power upgrade speed always increases as well.

Now if Goku was able to go mach17 on PL of 8000, Super Buu Gohan is said to have a powerlevel of 6,700,000,000.

Now 6,700,000,000/8000=837500
That means Super Buu Gohan was 837500 times more powerful than Base Goku that went on the snakeway.

Mach17 = 12 940.5199 mph
mach17*837500 = 10837685416.25mph

Speed of Light = 670616629 mph

Now, This Buu - Was beaten the fuck out of by regular ssj Vegetto.

Want more? Wikipedia is here to help!

In the manga itself, Gotenks states that he wen’t a few dozen times around earth and took a nap. Gotenks limit was 30 mins. A Nap, if you ask any person out there is at least half an hour to 2 hours. That means. And by a few, if Gotenks at least means 3-5, that means he went around the world 36-50 times in a matter of mere seconds.
A light takes 7 rounds of earth in one second.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_Goku_%28Dragon_Ball%29#Super_Speed

There i’m not going to provide more.

Anyways if you’re wonder howcome if they all can travel lightspeed but they didn’t, is because they had no protection from Sonic Boom. Flash has super speed so he can go lightspeed without hurting his environment but sadly, this is not in DBZ, and fights that take place at speeds faster than light in DBZ which are generally shown as shockwaves crumble mountains and land beneath them.
That’s because of Sonic booms generated by little flight at light speed while fighting.

So rest assured, DBZ can trip lightspeed by mid-DBZ i think.

If you have ANY evidence of Superman fighting a prolonged fight at lightspeed then please do tell!
And remember, Goku was highly trained in all sorts of martial arts when he was only 11 years old. he easily defeated the worlds strongest opponents in the tournament. So when he’s older, he the ultimate father of fighting, countering, and Ki.

Goku will crush Superman. No freakin' doubt!

But if Supes does get a sundip, the fight will go to a draw or Goku will be beaten, i think.

Goku defeated the worlds strongest martial artists in his world. So he is father of fighting in his world, but outside of it he’s not that great. Supes flight speed is almost as fast as the flash, the flash can run around the earth hundreds of times in seconds. I provided links earlier but they didn’t work when I tried them. Anyway I’ll try to find working links about supes.

Supes containing an island sized nuclear explosion before it affects the surrounding environment, fusing it, and then effortlessly tossing the explosion into the sun.

Note: This was also done right after exposure to kryptonite.
http://img336.imageshack.us/img336/4...toss7rv8ap.jpg

By the way - here’s PC Supes doing the same feat after exposure to magic.
http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/8346/speed110nh.jpg

Then chucks it all into space at close to light speed.
http://img159.imageshack.us/img159/2699/speed126zy.jpg

I also want to make a case and point that.
Goku almost died of heart disease.
Superman has showed resistance to both magic, kryptonite and exposure to the red sun.
Lex 2000 special: Superman made the trip from Earth to Saturn in well under 4 minutes. By comparison, light takes about 19 minutes to make this trip. He was pissed at the time.

And here scans to back up my strength feats. I challenge any one to post some thing Vegito or Gogeta that comes even remotely close to Superman’s Strength feats.

Superman taking a blast equal to a million nuclear blasts.
http://img234.imageshack.us/my.php?image=100mill5ca.jpg

Here’s Superman actually escaping a double black hole (which beats every feat ssj3/4 Goku or any DBZ/GT character has ever done), this proves his strength, speed, and durability.
http://img334.imageshack.us/my.php?image=blackhole0oz.jpg

Here is supes surviving an island destroying nuke at ground zero WHILE laying in kryptonite AND weakened from fighting multiple enemies for days. He comes out unfazed.

Sometimes Superman is hit so hard that he leaves orbit, but he always returns:

More impressive, imo, are the times Superman has gotten up from being smashed to the Earth or other planets...

Here is a good Speed Feat.
http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/1778/speedfeat2gp.jpg

Here is a cool speed feat from Action Comics #835. Louis Lane was shot on the other side of Metropolis but Supes heard the gun shot and blocked the bullet before it hit her.

Supes is the f*cking man.

In Superman Man of Steel #66, he once again acted as an effective shield, protecting cities around the world by blocking numerous “atom-smashing” force beams with his body. At one point he had 6 such beams trained on him simultaneously.

In Adventures of Superman #581, Superman allowed Adversary, a powerful magical foe, to hit him as hard as he could, without retaliation. Superman was literally punched halfway across the planet- from Metropolis, he literally landed in China- without any injury or loss of consciousness

But forget about being punched across the planet to China, how about through the planet to China? In Superman #181, Superman and Bizarro (his magically-created, brain damaged, “imperfect” duplicate) switched bodies. Superman (in Bizarro’s body) punched Bizarro (in Superman’s body) completely through the Earth and out the other end. Bizarro (in Superman’s body) was slammed in through the ground in Metropolis and came out two panels later in China. He was shown ripping straight through the Earth?s crust, mantle, and core, and coming out on the other side of the planet. Superman’s body was fully conscious and completely unharmed by the blow (Bizarro was smiling as usual).

In Man of Tomorrow #13, Superman harmlessly shrugged off a blast from Orion’s Astro-Harness that blasted him across the planet from the North Pole to India.

Action Comics # 762: Superman harmlessly shrugged off a blow from the magical demon Etrigan. The blow actually knocked Superman from Earth’s surface all the way to the moon (239,000 miles), a distance that is about 10 times the diameter of the Earth. Superman was virtually unfazed. In this issue he also shrugged off magical demon-fire (which he did previously in Action #589), and his super-lungs harmlessly inhaled the demon’s magical gases.

In Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey, Superman survived, at ground zero, a blast equal to “a million nuclear bombs” (according to the energy being Waverider). The explosion was caused by the destruction of the power generator for the entire planet of Calaton; the energy was drawn from the planetary core. Superman did not suffer any physical damage, but was momentarily rendered inert, and stated that he felt concussed. He then got up and boxed a little more with Doomsday, who also survived the blast.

In Adventures of Superman #478, as part of the Time and Time Again storyline, Superman survived- without so much as batting an eye- the nuclear destruction of the entire moon in the year 2995. The moon had been lined with sufficient nuclear devices to disintegrate it in one shot. When the moon was obliterated, Superman was actually within the moon (structures had been built beneath the surface of the moon). He did not suffer any harm and did not lose consciousness.

Superman’s ability to survive immersion in the sun is well documented by now. In Adventures of Superman #480, Superman survived immersion in the sun for the first time, but with great difficulty. This was actually a RED sun at the time, due to the Eradicator’s interference. In both the Superman: Last God of Krypton one shot and Superman Man of Steel #50, Superman survived immersion in the outer layers of the Earth’s yellow sun enjoyably, received extra power from the sun, and effortlessly escaped the sun?s gravitational pull. Furthermore, in both Action Comics # 782 and Superman Man of Steel #64, Superman survived the core of the sun without any problems. The pressure at the core of the sun is equal to 250 billion Earth atmospheres.

In JLA #41, Superman absorbed the energy of the Mageddon Warhead, a device capable, at the minimum, of vaporizing half a galaxy. Writer Grant Morrison intended Mageddon to be “the primordial annihilator” capable of literally destroying everything. Visibly distressed by the absorption, Superman still suffered no harm whatsoever, and even smiled afterwards.

Man of Steel #30: Standing on Earth’s surface, Superman punched Lobo into orbit and beyond with one uppercut.

Adventure of Superman #473: From Earth, Superman threw an alien space craft clear of Earth?s gravity and into outer space. This craft was larger than an aircraft carrier and over a mile long (a typical aircraft carrier is about a 1/4 of a mile long and weighs about 100,000 tons, so this ship was about 4x that size)

Several events show Superman as a moon-mover. In JLA # 7, as Electro-Superman, he halted the fall of the Moon towards Earth (caused by Neron’s magical machinations), then moved the Moon back its proper position in orbit. He later commented that he’s more powerful as “regular” Superman. Writer Grant Morrison and artist Howard Porter had originally intended the moon-moving event in JLA #7 be done by “regular” Superman , but DC forced them to use Electro-Supes. This event is butressed by several more. In JLA: The Century War, ancient “alchemical engines” were causing the moon to fall towards the Earth. Superman and Green Lantern took turns holding the moon back against the “geometrically increasing force” that was causing it to fall. Superman got the last “moon-bracing” shift. In Superman Man of Steel #30, Superman grabbed, easily broke the forward movement of, and easily threw in the opposite direction, a space ship the size of a small moon. In JLA # 58, Superman , Wonder Woman and Green Lantern collaborated to tow Earth’s moon a distance of 238,900 miles in mere seconds, indicating a fantastic acceleration, and then pulled the moon out of Earth’s gravity (which increases its weight tremendously). As he is universally regarded as the JLA’s most powerful member, I’m inclined to give Superman more than one-third, and - conservatively - about one-half, the work effort. In the Lex 2000 special, with a single strike, Superman split one of Saturn’s moons in half. Saturn’s moons are small moons.

Action Comics #782: After emerging from the sun energized, Superman physically pushed WarWorld, (a small, Pluto-sized planet) across the solar system and into a boom tube. WarWorld did engage a “full throttle countermeasure” in resistance Superman?s push. We can see WarWorld’s engines (which encompass nearly an entire hemisphere of WarWorld’s surface) firing in resistance, to no avail. WarWorld’s engines allow WarWorld to travel at faster than light speeds through space, so they generate the power to accelerate a planet beyond light speed. “How is he moving my planet! The Kryptonian does not have that power!" Braniac’s disbelief is reasonable since WarWorld’s engines had no shortage of power ; WarWorld had just pirated the energy of Imperiex - energy gleaned from the devouring of many galaxies. (Hence Imperiex’s reputation as the “Devourer of Galaxies."wink Please note that Superman was energized beyond his usual power levels at this time.

Action Comics Annual #7: Fighting in space, Superman successfully resisted the pull from a black hole that had opened up directly below (inches from) his feet. The miniature black hole had been induced by advanced alien (Ht’ros) war technology.

Superman #13: Flew around the equator in a matter of seconds, indicating a speed of well over 1,000,000 mph, or roughly 1350 times the speed of sound.

Man of Steel #110: Standing in one spot, Superman used his super speed to vibrate his body invisible.

Superman #175: Taking another speed trick from the Flash?s book of tricks, Superman used his super speed to vibrate his body intangible, thus allowing Doomsday’s punches and fire-breath to pass harmlessly through him. A body moving at light speed within an atmosphere will become intangible (that’s how the Flash does it).

Return of Superman: Superman used his speed to vibrate his arm so fast, it shattered the Cyborg?s body into hundreds of fragments.

After racing the Man of Steel, Impulse stated that Superman travels at 99% of the speed of light.

War of the Gods #4: Superman actually out-raced an energy beam to its target. In JLA: Heavens Ladder, it is stated that Superman can race a photon to its target.

Lex 2000 special: Superman made the trip from Earth to Saturn in well under 4 minutes. By comparison, light takes about 19 minutes to make this trip. He was pissed at the time.

Superman #167: His power waning under a red sun, Superman still summoned enough heat vision to successfully power Jor-El’s planet-moving ion engines. The planet in this case had a mass 16 times that of Earth’s.

Superman’s heat vision has a maximum range of at least 239,000 miles (the distance from the Earth to the Moon). In Superman #101, he let out a beam from Earth’s surface that scorched the surface of the moon; In Man of Steel #112, he shot a beam that bounced off the surface of the moon. Krypto did, too.

In John Byrne’s Man of Steel revamp, it was shown that Superman’s microscopic vision can see on the subcellular level, as he analyzed Bizarro?s cellular structure; and even on the molecular level, as he analyzed the molecular composition of Magpie’s acid-gas.

In the JLA: Earth 2 graphic novel, the Martian Manhunter and Superman mulled over the abnormalities at “every eighth angstrom” in the DNA of the anti-matter Earth’s version of Lex Luthor. An angstrom is about the size of a large atom.

Superman #152: Superman’s telescopic vision allowed him to peer across the galaxy to WarWorld.

In Man of Steel #121, Superman’s super-hearing allowed him to pinpoint a single person in a city of 11 million based on such distinctive sounds as the rustle of that person’s clothing and the sound of their heartbeat.

Soul Search: Fighting alone in Hell (literally), Superman single-handedly defeated Blaze, a death goddess, in her own realm. This had never been accomplished before by anyone; Blaze has magical control over the very reality of her realm. The attacks that Superman fought off included magical transmutation into a demon, which he shook off through sheer willpower ; magical energy blasts from Blaze ; a magical spell that encased him in stone, which he subsequently shattered; and immersion in the lava lakes of this magical dimension.

Alone against the Daxamite Lar Gand, (Daxamites are the genetic cousins to, but reputed to be more powerful than, Kryptonians), Superman soundly KO’d Lar, despite the fact that Superman was operating on empty lungs on the airless surface of the moon (Lar had air in his lungs however).

Action Comics Annual #7: Alone, Superman twice defeated alien armadas, each capable of destroying a planet.

Superman #153: Superman became the first being ever in the history of the Universe to defeat an Imperiex probe. He used a combination of super speed and super strength to destroy an Imperiex space construct ; said construct was capable of annihilating our solar system. Note that Superman took a blast from Imperiex, the beam aforementioned as being able to vaporize a solar system.

More On Kal-El’s Durability. Thanks to Jak Sacul

Adventures of Superman #477: survives being at ground zero of an imploding sun-eater, followed by a plummet to Earth. KO’d; otherwise OK afterwards.

Adventures of Superman #478: survives the nuclear obliteration of the Earth’s moon )in the 31st century, IIRC) without batting an eye.

Adventures #480: takes a dive into the outer layers of a red sun.

Man of Steel #64, Action Comics #782: goes into the core of a yellow sun.

Action Comics #696: takes a trip through a cosmic wormhole.

Hunter/Prey #3: weathers ground zero of the supposed “million nukes” blast on Calaton.

JLA/JSA Virtue/Vice: Goes through a black hole. Not sure if Sentinel protected him or not - it’s not clear from the story.

Superman #9: weathers ground zero of a 40 megaton nuke followed by a fall to Earth from outer space. KO’d for a half hour, OK afterwards.

Superman for All Seasons #1 and Trinity #1: impressively endures ground zero nukes without loss of consciousness or injury.

Superman/Fantastic Four: the disputed “adamantium cutting lasers” event.

JLA: Created Equal #2: goes through a black hole (out of continuity).

Adventures of Superman #595: impressively resists Darkseid’s Omega Beams.

Superman #181: Takes a punch from the magically created Bizarro creature which slams him clear through the Earth, in the ground through Metropolis, through the curst mantle and core and out through China. No injury or loss of consciousness. Smiles afterwards.

Man of Steel #127: takes an island-destroying nuke while sitting in Kryptonite-laced sand. No injury or loss of consciousness.

War of the Gods #4: blocks a magical beam capable of destroying an island (Paradise Island). Fails to completely mitigate the blast’s effect - one person dies. Apparently briefly KO’d or at least in great pain as a result; otherwise OK at issue’s end.

Adventures #581: takes a punch from a magical being that knocks him clear from Metropolis to China. No injury or loss of consciousness. Says “ouch”.

Action #762: takes a punch from Etrigan the Demon that sends him from Metropolis to the Moon. No injury or loss of consciousness. Says “unff."

Trial of Superman (don’t know the issues): survives various planet-powered particle beams from the Cyborg, one of which was said by the Cyborg to be capable of levelling a city. (“Believe me, I’d know” spake the Cyborg.)

Need I remind everyone that this is almost the weakest canon version of Superman we’ve ever seen?

Dude filter out the pre-crisis son of a **** feats. this guy was so insanely powerful that even DC had a hard time matching a villain.

Going post crisis, Goku lifted what? A city? A moonsized ship?

And here’s what Goku did to a mountain -

http://img334.imageshack.us/my.php?image=blackhole0oz.jpg

First, Goku not even at his 50% of power. Second, just by looking at the sheer size of the mountain, one can easily say that Goku can easily toss a moon or a city like nothing if he tried to.

Now, the 2 black holes things - Superman barely even touches Gohan Super Buu’s speed on this one!

Now according to my calculations - Gohan Buu could travel at 10837685416.25mph. in the scan, Supes touches 200 mps and accelarates, now see how i break this down into a Gotenks managable feat -

10837685416.25/3600 (3600 seconds in an hour) = 3010468.1711805555555555555555556 Mps
Or
3010468.2 mps.

Now Gohan Buu could go at 3010468.2, Supes in the scan goes at? 200mps.

Looks like Gohan Buu is so powerful he could fly throw different realms and escape 20 black holes at once, no wait....in fact he just was about to DESTORY THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE all with his spirit energy! Gohan Buu and Gotenks both are able to tear open the realm they were in, if Vegetto hadn’t stopped Gohan Buu, gohan Buu would not only tear the realm on the universe they were in, but unknown realm beyond it ultimately collapsing upon each other (As Dende himself said!)

So Gohan Buu easily outclasses Superman, can destroy multiple realms/universes if he wanted to.
Same goes with Gotenks.

And guess what, Vegetto wasn’t even Ssj2 when he beat the hell out of that SAME universes destroying Gohan Buu.

Now post some more POST-CRISIS only feats of Superman please.

Damn another mistake made! The scan was very unclear - i look closely and see the figure supes was ascending to was 182,200 mps.
He’s still outclassed by Vegetto and Super Gohan Buu.

Wow thats not really impressive when you go by what supes can do. Heres some more and I’m off for the night.

Heres Superman catching bullets with little effort (DBZ/GT characters can do this also though).

http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/9...bullets3oo.jpg

Heres another great reflexsive feat.

http://img288.imageshack.us/img288/4...0mongul202.jpg

http://img288.imageshack.us/img288/4...dmongul6gv.jpg

Now here’s a speed feat that nobody in DBZ/GT isn’t capable of at all. Superman is moving his body so fast, that hes vibrating through Doomsdays magical electrical/fire breath (he’s fasing through the attack, because hes moving his body so fast).

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/6255/supermanfast1ym.jpg

Here’s another thing Supes can do with his speed that the DBZ/GT characters can’t. Hes reading at high speeds.

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/2356/superman1450di.jpg

This pic shows Superman vibrating his body so fast, that hes invisible.

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/5606/...isible46ra.jpg

Here’s Superman travling at light speed.

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/1983/...sagain33bx.jpg

This pic shows Superman punching Lobo from Earth into orbit, and he was holding back too. Lobo stats that if he doesn’t stop him self, that he’ll spend a century orbitting around the planet. That’s alot of punching power the DBZ/GT characters whould be going up against.

http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/5...peslobo1ef.jpg

Here’s a pic of Superman when hes done pulling his punches.

Would you quit assuming and actually post some facts. Oh thats right you don’t so you make shit up so that goku could win. I’m not even going to wreck my brain with your calculations but as its been said if they could travel so fast don’t you think that Goku wouldn’t need IT and he would have been able to save his family from that slow planet destroying attack of kid buu. Just so you know the realm destroying thing was filller(basically it happened only in the anime). And why are you bringing up Buu he isn’t Goku. If thats the case if you talk about how Buu was going to destroy the universe (which was filler), hey Superman assisted in destroying a enemy who made Buu look weak Antimoniter.

Dude! Half your images don’t even work.

Anyways, that mountain thing may not have been impressive but i’m pretty sure Goku can easily lift over a billion tons too.
(considering he was moving moving small mountanins since he was a boy, lifted cars like nothing, and while going to namek he could easily lift over 7000 tons on 1 finger alone, since he did pushup 1000 times at 100x his own weight, lets take 70kg that would mean he lifted 7tons on one finger 1000 times and this goku was far from becoming a Super Saiyan)

Ugh, you wanna talk about Supes vibrating? Goku was doing that with Jeice! The supposedly fastest in the Ginyu force, when he was battling Goku and was trying to punch Goku on his maximum super speed, Goku was dodging so fast that it looked as if he was just standing still! There weren’t even any noticeable shadows or vibrations!

Take that, and Goku wasn’t even a super freakin' saiyan yet.

Take DBZ anime on its own as all other animes based of manga’s are taken.

Second, DBZ’ers always FOUGHT at those speeds i calculated. They never travelled at those speeds around because of Sonic Booms.
A good example you should watch is Majin Vegeta vs Goku. It was full of so high speed battles, that in the manga you had mountains, lands breaking on its own only with the sonic booms of effect of the speed they were fighting each other in, and depicted very well in the anime as well.

Since DBZ have no protection like Speed Force which Flash uses to avoid friction or sonic boom, DBZ’ers are forced to travel at slow speeds. Throughout DBZ and even for a moment in GT, Goku still travelled fast as he could without producing sonic booms. In GT you have Goku punching Super Android 17 across two continents, and Goku followed and made his trip within 2 seconds.

in any case, the numbers i’ve proved above are simple ABC logic which works in DB-DBZ all the time. Its all calculations of powerlevels.
Just that the number has become too large for Supes fanboys to comprehend.

Goku would easily sense this and stop Supes dead on his track.

yea right time would already be going backwards theres one thing you can’t stop and thats time except super man can stop time so goku would have no ability to stop the reverse of time

has goku ever manipulated time except for when he went into that stupid little room No! he loses outright because superman is always at maximum strength goku has to summon energy to have a chance against superman. so time starts going backwards and goku is still making sounds like hes taking a crap to get to super saiyan 4.

just because Goku never demonstrated his ability to go back in time doesn’t mean he can’t. Besides, the DB physics and DC physics work a lot different.
In DC, you start time travelling when anybody crosses 10x SoL, there’s high possibility than Supes trying to turn the world around in DB world may not be able to accomplish it no matter how fast he goes.

Besides, if Goku wants to he can easily outrace Supes since Gotenks was 4.25 times the speed of light in the manga in not even his half power.

Goku has obviously surpassed Gotenks. And lets no even try ot say anything about Vegetto or Gogetta since we haven’t even seen their limit, just they toyed with Universe busters like Gohan Super Buu and Omega Shenron. Vegetto and Gogetta’s power ultimately can’t be judged so no use even trying to argue even if Superman sneezed and created 12546 Universes from under his nose in a single millisecond.

i’ve seen Goku have trouble picking up a bus in his normal form and since superman never has to change forms and can easily pick up a plane without haveing to charge any energy at all he could easily time travel without opposition. Also time travel happens in DC when you fly around a planet backwards. and hey since when has vegetto and gotega been brought into this thats not goku thats him needing help.
and during the silver age he needed no food nor sleep and could here from 1 side of the infinite universe to the other. Also it is said in many comics that his powers are limitless while under the radiation of a yellow sun.
In an interview with Joe Casey on Alvaro’s ComicBoards, he stated that Superman could re-arrange the Solar System and tear a star apart

come on people both of their worlds are to different to compare like that one guy stated the worlds have different physics systems if you really want to go by something go by lists of powers at their strongest. so in turn by powers alone super man wins because he is invunerable and immortal and as we’ve all seen goku has died many times and isn’t invunerable

ok on ething gogeta is goku and vegeta so that’s out of the picture, one thing is most of goku forms only last for a limited time I think the fight would go like this,

regular goku fights super man, superman gains the upperhand he goesto anyother form I think ssj2 2 would be equal to superman, ssj3 would surpass superman but in none of these forms would he be able to kill superman, and if he ever tried to go ssj4 if he could kill superman he’d go back to regular goku in a short amount of time, if that happened he be defeated he couldn’t beat superman in form one
