In the 2d games regular or Super Sonic can be crushed however in the 3d games normal Sonic doesn’t even die if he’s crushed so it safe to say getting crushed in the and since nothing else can seem to kill a character in a Super form either, so it’s safe to say crushing Super Sonic in the 2D games=A way to keep it so that using Super Sonic wouldn’t make things to easy. So other than Knuckles ability to stop the Power of the Chaos Emeralds with the Master Emerald(Yeah you’d figure it’d be called the Master Emrald for something else other than it’s sheer size), Super Sonic is invincible.

3. Im pretty sure that the final boss in sonic rush or one of the sonic advances can hurt sonic.

Samus is much MUCH stronger than all of eggmans weapons put together. Considering eggman’s mechs can hurt super sonic, Samus could probably KILL super sonic.
