The Price of the Wii Announced

Nintendo today confirmed that the price of the Wii system will not exceed $250 in America, or 25,000 yen in Japan. This information came from a Game Informer Article posted on their webpage earlier today. Unfourtunatly Nintendo has yet to release any info on the release date, except for Q4 2006.

I was correct in assuming that the Wii was going to be half the price of the 360, I think that Nintendo is going to sell quite a few systems just because of the low price.

I dunno, be wary of Game Informer’s information. They also said Halo 3 would be called “Halo Forerunners”.

I dunno, I trust Game Informer about this, game Informer doesn’t post things just to post them, they said that it came straight from Nintendo, and I don’t think they’d lie about that.

yeah well that price sounds right... Nintendo has been talking about how thier system is going to be cheaper than the others... 250 seems like a nice amount to pay...

compared to what... a gamecube... please they are not going to find any next gen console for cheaper than that...

It had few 3rd party. But I still liked it alot and 1st party games were awsome along with the 3rd party and 2nd party. Plus, it had Prime and thats like an instant win...

Zelda, Metroid, and Super Smash reigned supreme on the cube... other than that though... it did kinda suck, but of the last gen consoles it had my three favorite releases, two remakes, Zelda: Orcarina of Time Master Quest and metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes, and the best fighting game ever, Super Smash Brothers Melee ^_^

I hate April Fools... AdventChildren.net killed the Final Fantasy Fans by saying that a new FF7 based game was coming out... they even edited pictures to make it look real... those bastards... or rather since the one who did it was female... that bitch and her bastard cronies!
