If your paying $200 for a portable gaming system then there shouldn’t be dead pixels on the screen, even if it’s normal, but so you don’t start flaming me let me just say that this is my opinion. Anyway that is an opinion that you think PSP screen is better than DS screen. The DS Lite has a brighter screen, one of them being a touch screen, doesn’t get scratches (or at least not as much as PSP)and is always protected when your not playing because of the design. And when you put the two DS screens together they are bigger than the PSP screen. Besides two screens really are better than one. Think about it, the whole screen of one gaming system can only contribute to what you are actively playing. With the DS screens one could be what is actively going on, and the other can be a map. Think “Brain Train: Train Your Brain In Minutes A Day”, you can’t have that on only one screen without causing some kind of conflict.

The thing I notice about you Truegamer is in everyone of your posts you usually talk about something being better than the other only because of what is being told by the company, I’m talking about tech specs. I’m not trying to insult you, I want to point out that you should moreover look at the big picture and not just how many colors the PSP screen has or that PS3 graphics are so good that you can see every hair on that sumo wrestlers ass. You can’t compare two or three gaming systems only on the tech specs, it’s the experiece that’s important, which one you enjoy better. When a gaming system has more efficient tech in it that doesn’t automatically make it better, that is a mistake Sony has made since the PSP, and they think because the PS3 has the most efficiant tech ever put in a gaming system that it is automatically more enjoyable.

And you Truegamer, I wish just for once you would make a good comment that doesn’t express your opinion by insulting other consoles because of their tech, or by calling people idiots because they have their own opinions. And I don’t want you to flame me for this comment, I’m not trying to make you mad, I was just trying to point something out that too many people on this forum make.

how many xbox fans do u think exist on this forum??? too many for me to count... and wut about nintendo fans??? same thing. now i think i could count the amount of SONY fans on this forum with one hand. there seems to be an unbalance, don’t u think. especially when it comes to smarts. xbox fans tend to know a lot about microsoft, DX10, blah blah blah, and nintendo fans tend to express that gameplay and fun factor are wut really matters. I just try and keep a good balance. I have to admit that there are a few SONY fans that really don’t know wut they’re talking about, but you have to admit that in this forum, the DUMBEST fanboy belongs to the xbox group.

to me, before you have gameplay, you have to have the specs to back it up. for example, you CAN’T get the same gameplay of GranTurismo on the NES. there’s no way. it’s not because there was a lack of imagination back then, it’s because of higher graphics and breakthrough technology. it’s Technology that allows us to express and push our imaginations further. yes, the Wii gives us an entirely new type of gameplay, but no one was complaining about the old gameplay. it doesn’t matter to me anyways 'cause i’m gonna get the Wii, but still, to me, the Wiimote is still a gimmick, something to sell consoles.

as for the screens, you probably meant to say that the DS lite’s screen is brighter than the regualr DS and not the PSP, 'cause DS lite’s screen isn’t brighter than PSP’s. and both screens together on the DS is still smaller than the PSP’s... i’ve measured. and to me, better screens mean more detail in a game, more realistic colors, and more of a playing field.

and THE ONLY TIME I CALL SOMEONE AN IDIOT is when the get FACTS wrong. i never insult someone’s opinion. well, maybe that xbox guy who calls everyone gay, but that’s besides the point. I have a 360, gamecube, PS2, PSP, a PC with a X800 XTX PCI-e gpu card, and an 46” HDTV with 1080p. so anything I do say, i say out of experience. like how COD2 sucks, and how twilight princess keeps getting pushed back, damn it!

im a sony fan

gameplay is the most important

graphics and power come after
they are important but not as important as gameplay

PS2 had crappy graphics yet it had games with good gameplay

any sony fan would know that GTA has crappy graphics
and it’s not 1 of the top games because of it’s graphics

the gameplay got it where it is

it’s the 2nd best series to Zelda and it has crappy graphics

alot of classic games became classics because of the gameplay
not the graphics

Tetris has crappy graphics yet it’s the series that sold the most

There’s 4 settings that the PSP’s screen can adjust to. and the one shown on that link wasn’t the brightest either... for one, it wasn’t pluged in, which would allow for maximum brightness, and second, how do you know wut setting he had the PSP in the first place?

Uh no the wii opera browser is not $30. You can download the trial verson free and when the full verson comes out you just need to most likey pay 1000 wii points for it and then it is yours for good.
