watching a movie is not, because at no point does anyone watching BELIEVE they are seeing Jesus, just a visible metaphor for why he died, and why we should save ourselves ---

The pastors were talking about making movies with characters playing Jesus, with the face visible. They were saying that no one can know how Jesus, God, looks. They said that you shouldn’t make images of God, and making a movie where Jesus' face is showing is like making an image of God. We do not know how God looks, and we shouldn’t make images of it. That is what they said. I was kind of shocked. I don’t know if I would agree or not completely, but it sounds like a good view on it. ---

Jesus is not God. The Trinity is non-existent. Therefore, a picture of Jesus is just a vision of a man, not of God. The point is moot.

God is referred to as the Father, and the Bible speaks of God’s Holy Spirit, but the two are never separated. As for Jesus, not once did he utter the words, “I am God." Son of God, Son of Man, Messiah, but not God. The Trinity says that all three, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are united as one god, but that is unbiblical and goes totally against any monotheistic religion.
