I was gettin some head get gettin some head.....most rap now a days is based on sex, rape, killing, drugs, gangs, fighting, how much money they got, when all it is is going to grills, cars, restitution, child support...etc, fowl and discusting shit, I can go on forever.
Rock on the other hand talks about REAL life situations, sadness, happiness, anger, all of the above. YES some rock songs do talk alot about some of that shit, but atleast its not non stop. Plus rock has its own beat, alot of rap songs sound like they have the same exact fucking beat, and it gets coppied over and over. Rock music has (Im sorry to say it but) SOUL, ROCK IS ORIGINAL, rap is copys

i like both rap and rock, i think this is the stupidest argument ive ever heard, they both take talent and ill let you all know that most rap is sampled from a rock song or a r&b disco anything song, i understand that it is hard for a person to ryhme and thats more move for the ones who are great at it ! but on the other side of the spectrum its incredibley hard to come up with a catch guitar riff, or sing three different octaves if rock sucks then why did run dmc cover aerosmith’s Walk this way, and eventually become pioneers to the hip hop culture? cant you see that music co exists together they feed off each other
