Considering 458 did waaaaay better than she would have actually done against Samus, I don’t think MC would have a chance. Wait, I know MC wouldn’t have a chance.

actually he really made the video for it to be master chief vs. samus so everything would’ve been the same finding out she was a girl had nothing to do with the preformance...plus he was lucky all of those weapons were on the floor....plus she got killed in the video I don’t think she/he realy landed a hit, not to mention most of the attacks samus preformed would’ve killed him.....anywhomaybe you get a new super cool armor in halo 3.....and he can fly and has laser vision

Everything would have been the same. But remember, they were modified. If you take the same situation but with their actual capability, power, etc, MC would be dead in about 10 seconds.
he may be able to dodge some of samus attacks but she has weapons which home in on the target such as missle etc plus some of her weapons have large area in which they cover like the ice spreader

Who the hell cares? They’re video game characters from completely different games. No true comparison can be made.
But, just to put in my 2 sense, I think Master Chief would win. Why? He’s a badass, and he has the pimped shield. Samus may have cool stuff, but Master Chief has sheer will-power (if you’ve read the books...) and more honed battle tactics.

I know Samus wins (as much as I hate to admit it, of course. My username says it all), but why is the scarab gun not a legit weapon? You can pick it up in the game, so I think it is legit. Destroys things pretty damn fast. Automatic. Unlimited ammo. My dream weapon!
