As for the Bunny Hood and Iron Boots, the reason Link is so slow with the boots is because the boots weigh so much (hints the reason he will sink in water) So the Bunny hood wouldn’t help his movements while he has the boots on, all it does is accelerate the person’s body, not increase their physical strength.

Also just to blow your threory completly out of the water, the fast an object moves the heavier it becomes, so even if Link were to pick up enough speed to travel that quickly while wearing the boots, he’d probably start to crater the ground he steps on, therefore causing the ground to become too uneven and thus loosing speed.

And about the dispel thing, I was wrong about the name of the materia, and if you look at my definition, you’ll see that I said Esuna cures all statuses, ones caused by materia, attacks, or anything else.

and the faster something moves does not make it heavier
it technically makes it lighter

Now don’t forget the magic cape isn’t a staus effect either it’s a peice of equipment like the ribbon. The ribbon bascially casts resist on the wearer but the effect is not cancelled from Esuna, and I’m not sure Esuna is a status effect since those usally stick with your character. Therefore the effects of magic cape wouldn’t be cancelled either, since it falls into the same category as ribbon.
