Sephiroth can’t be killed at all... Technically they’re both immortal, taking this into consideration, it would obviously be a tie in the end, although Sephiroth would probably slap Ganondorf around quite a bit, the only way for Ganondorf to win would be to Send Sephiroth to another deminsion, which would be rather unlikely, Sephiroth’s will would be too powerful for that to happen, likewise though, Sephuiroth could only win by sealing Ganondorf away, and to my great knowledge, Sephiroth doesn’t have an attack to do that with. ---

but ganondorf is slow
if he can send saphiroth to another dimension he’d win ---

It isn’t confirmed that he is immortal, but i is widely assumed by fans, he survived being almost cleaved in half, in the fights in Nibelheim he doesn’t eventake damage from attacks, and he “returns” after being “killed” at the end of the game. ---

Seph was encased in a Mako Crystal in the Northern Cave, the cave collasped after the awakening of the weapons, this is true, Cloud and Seph both fell into the lifestream at just about the same time at just about the same place, am I the only one that finds it odd that Cloud drifted to Mideel and Seph remained stationary?
Now here is something that’s going to tie this theory down, this is some dialouge from the temple of the ancients.
“Aeris: How do you intend to become one with the Planet?
Sephiroth: It’s simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury. ...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha ha ha. And at the center of that injury, will be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with all the energy of the Planet, I will become a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet... I will cease to exist as I am now... Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every soul."
note Sephiroth speaks of gathering spirit energy, now what is spirit energy? Here is another quote to explain.
Sephiroth: Only death awaits you all. But do not fear. For it is through death that a new spirit energy is born. Soon, you will live again as a part of me.
When something dies it becomes Spirit Energy, plain and simple, but why would he choose to make Meteor attack a location that is virtualy uninhabited? It doesn’t make sense... If he was to aim at a city, like Midgar, he would accumulate even more Spirit Energy, right? Wait hold on... Meteor did hit Midgar, but people say that after Cloud defeated Sephiroth that he lost control of meteor, but Meteor was too close to the planet when they exited the crater for him to have lost control, if he just lost control of Meteor then Meteor would still have hit in the Crater Area, that’s just common sense, the only way for it to hit a location that is halfway around the planet is if he lost control before it was in the planet’s atmosphere, but then Meteor wouldn’t have been hitting Midgar as soon as you left the crater, it would have to still be in the sky.
So taking the facts that Sephiroth said that he was going to be in the middle of the injury, him dropping into the lifestream, Meteor hitting Midgar, Jenova being able to shapeshift, and Sephiroth controlling Jenova, points to one thing... The real Sephiroth was undernethe city of Midgar sense he dropped into the lifestream.
What if Sephiroth made Jenova go to the crater as a distraction? Jenova would go to the crater and pretend she was Sephiroth, just like she had been doing before, Cloud and his group goes to the Crater, Sephiroth summons meteor to hit Midgar (so that it would kill all the people in Midgar and thus produce more energy) Cloud fights and kills Jenova 3 times (the first time she made herslef look like Jenova so that CLoud would think that they killed her) The second time she transforms into a wierd looking Sephiroth, they defeat it, but Cloud knows that Seph can’t be that easy to beat, so Jenova transforms again, this time into an almost Angelic form, Cloud wins again, he now thinks that Seph is dead and the problem is solved, but oh noes! Meteor is on a collision course with the most inhabited city on the planet! Cloud can’t do anything now, it’s too late, but what Sephiroth didn’t know, was Jenova killed Aerith, and she was able to activate Holy by reaching the lifestream, Holy comes and fails, or does it? The Lifestream suddenly rises from the planet and stops Meteor from destroying something, Sephiroth has been foiled, and now he sits undernethe what is now, the ruins of Midgar.
To me, this theory makes perfect sense, and most of the people I’ve told it too agree, whether you will or not, depends on if you’re open to new ideas, the guys on ACF didn’t like the theory, but they were also the ones who thought that Aerith should be paired with Cloud, yuffie has no relationship with Vincent, Reno and Rude were gay, and that Sephiroth died at the end of FF7.
This is where I posted my theory on Sephiroth not being in the crater at the end of the game ---

Speaking of which, I just now remembered something, in the attack Super Nova, he is engulfed by the attack and yet he sustains no damage... he has to be immortal lol ---

No that can’t be it, you can cast your own spells on yourself and your party and hurt them with it, you can also confuse some enemies and they’ll hurt themselves with their own attacks, one boss call apps uses a Tsunami attack that he generates and he is injured by it when it hits him too.
Sephiroth is just that damn powerful, or if it’s Jenova like I think it is, she is an alein and like Wolverine can regenerate herself, in fact her regeneration goes further than wolvie’s does, if I remember correctly, Wolverine’s head has to be intact for him to survive, Jenova’s head can be blown into a billion molecule size pieces and still recover... kind of freaky actually... ---

that wouldn’t happen
1 would end up losing
otherwise it’d just be an endless battle | | | 30 Jun 2006 11:43 pm |
Guardian of MvC Rep: 85 Joined: 06 Jan 2006 Posts: 44,448 OFFLINE | I guess it would be an endless battle then, Sephiroth cleary has the advantage over Ganondorf, but ganny is immortal, so he couldn’t kill him, and Sephiroth is practically immortal, so Ganondorf wouldn’t be able to kill Sephiroth either. ---
