An image:
code: [*img]http://xbox-linux.org/down/darwin/darwin-crash.jpg[/img] (remove *)
In a different size:
code: [*img=200x100]http://xbox-linux.org/down/darwin/darwin-crash.jpg[/img]
This should NOT work:
[img]shttp://xbox-linux.org/down/darwin/darwin-crash.jpg[/img]
[img]ftp://xbox-linux.org/down/darwin/darwin-crash.jpg[/img]
[img]xbox-linux.org/down/darwin/darwin-crash.jpg[/img]
(fixed: images can only (be allowed to) be retrieved from HTTP)
Does not work 100% yet, I will try and see what is wrong.
From (slightly updated) FAQ:
How do I format my posts? MovieCodec Forums, to some degree, supports BBCode for formatting your posts. However for guests the tags used for posting images and links are ignored.
Testing to see what happens when a guest posts what I posted above...

Guess it doesn’t work for guests. Oh well that’ll invite them more to become a member.
Well that was the initial worry in the first place, guests running about posting obscene images etc etc and possibly proxy servers, with registered users they’re much more trustworthy.
Bjarne: I can’t imagine it would make much of a difference if it showed or not.
I say we go with hidden. It’ll look better that way in my opinion.
And good point. I wouldn’t want guests to post it anyways cause don’t know what kinda crap they’ll post and then just leave. *Hints at George Zimmer dude*

Oh that’s great so the image won’t make the page have a scroll to it.
That is by no means guaranteed. If the image is bigger than your window it will require scrolling. My scripts do not in anyway check the size of the image posted (that would require my scripts to inspect every image posted - but even that would not be entirely accurate).
