For example, I took an image that was 3000x2400, used that formula to convert it, and I got 625x500 in a response.

Oh no you’re going to make us do MATH now?

Images and clickable links are allowed in posts made by registered users. But ignored in posts by guests.

Rules for now:
Very big images, beyond what is fair for anyone, should generally be moderated. Big images can be allowed but the poster should warn in the topic name, ie. “large image(s) inside”.
I would like to point out that a big image can be a big image in terms of width and height, but it can also be a smaller image with a very very slow loading time (So please try not to take a HUGE picture and post it indicating a small size in the BB Code tag - the ENTIRE picture is still loaded even if it is not shown in full size!).
Posting images that serves no purpose should generally not be allowed to prevent pointless slowdowns.
Pure “image” topics where people share screenshots, personal pictures etc. are welcome. But some kind of indication should be made in the topic name that it is a high bandwidth topic (moderators should rename the topic for this!).
Any kind of illegal images, pornography etc. should be moderated (refer to normal rules).

No. I would like to post at a reasonably small size, but anything less than 1000 pixels is fine. If it is a problem, I’ll moderate it. After all, the rules I impose here is only for our main thread.
