My gaming career started when I would to to my cousins' house after church (oddly, we always ate Alfy’s pizza or barbecued elk meat their dad shot). They had a NES and SNES. I especially liked the Mario games and Donkey Kong Country. When I was seven during holiday '97, I asked for a Playstation. I hadn’t really heard too much of the Nintendo 64 at the time. The mistake I made was also asking for a game called Diddy Kong Racing (it was a mistake because I thought it was a board game! Geez, how retarded). So on Christmas I awoke to unwrap my new N64 package: the system, two gray controllers, and two games (DKR and NFL Quarterback Club '98). I instantly became addicted to DKR, along with my dad. Soon after I got Mario Kart 64, which was also addicting. But my attention turned to two more games about two months later: Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. I would switch off days that I played them. But my all time favorite N64 game was of course, Goldeneye 007. I could not stop playing it, and would often play while my parents were asleep. My collection also included Super Smash Bros., Beetle Adventure Racing, Banjo-Tooie, Ridge Racer 64, Pokemon Snap, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, and others I can’t quite remember. Sadly, I own no Zelda games to speak of, but it was good times for me anyways.
I ended up never getting a Playstation, although one of my friends has one. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2x is my most played PS1 game. I also have an Xbox of course, but not a 360 yet. I hope to get one soon. But hey, my turn is over. Post your stories!
well, i kind of have an odd story. i am an accidental nintendo fan. for years, my older brother always wanted a system. about half way through the n64’s life span, my parents decided to get one for us. at this point, we knew nothing about gaming. i didn’t even relize that the ps was compeating with the n64. i thought it was totaly different and not realy a gaming machine. my formar ignorance asstonds me. naturaly, when the gc came out, we wanted a sequal to our awsome n64. we got it for christmas and fell inlove with it. neither of us knew anything about gaming yet. last summer (i think), i herd about the next gen consals on a sight called xgen studios. i emediatly went to reserch the new nintendo system, and wanted to find out how obviously suppirior it was to the compotition. i typed in revolution vs xbox 360 vs ps3 in a google search, and found movie codecs most popular thread. this was back when it was only about 100 pages old. i read the first 50 or so pages untill i relised that it was still active, all the while learning the basics about gaming. i followed along, not posting, for 100’s of pages. im not sure when i first posted, but i think is was becouse of xtrm. it was when he was new here, maby his first post. he went on and flamed about nintendo being kiddy, and i snapped. i flamed right back. well, he owned me, needless to say, but that was my earlyest rememberd post. i followed along, rarely posting, and slowly became more active. i eventualy expanded onto all of the then called “lounge”, and became what you all now know and hate.
well, that is my story of how i became an accidental diehard nintendo fan. its kind of wierd, i think, how that happened...

Yes, Caboose, I’m a gay robot.
I will buy the PS3 only if i need a replacement for my George Forman grill.
Mortal Kombat on the SNES when I was 3, got pretty good at them cus my uncle was good.
Though that was pretty much the only game besides Zelda I played until my life went down the drain bout 2 years ago. before then I hardly ever touched em.
I got a PS1 for my b-day when I was 8. I barely played it but it was the best of the 3 consoles.
I never bought any of the systems until roughly 2 years ago at which point I got the PS2 and GC. I couldn’t stand the xbox because most of the games were basicly poor quality with only nice visuals.
I got a free xbox from an uncle.
As for handhelds basicly the same story. I got a Gameboy Pocket when I was 7, a GBC when I was 10, a GBA when I was 12, and DS last year. Never got a PSP because it’s only good game was GTA and the rest didn’t stand out. I always get the next gen Gameboys, though the DS isn’t a gameboy. I never buy the other versions of the primary Gameboy so the GBSP I got for x-mas and I never got a GBM.
Next gen I’m going to get a Wii and PS3. After all the thinking I’ve done the 360 doesn’t have too much for non-xbox fans. It is gettign most of what were PS2 exclusives but it doesn’t have all of them and they’re still on the PS3.
I would’ve gotten the 360 for Oblivion, but it’s not much of an actual combat game and the other game would have been KOTOR 3 but it’s not confirmed and that’s only 1 game. Halo is just like any other fps except with online so I never got into, especially with the boring single player. Without online it has nothing.
my cousin was at his last year at college and i was 5 this is around when virtual boy was released so SNES was super popluar but he gave me a NES and a lot of games like the original zelda then wat got me into gaming is the christmas of 1998 i was 7 i remember it good cuz this is when my dad was diagnosed with liver cancer ( he died december 2nd 2001)
but for that christmas the same cousin got me a N64 even tho it said it was from santa in the box i got 1 grey controller and one atomic purple controller and diddy kong racing ever since then i was addicted

i wasnt into gaming untill i was ten i took a trip to oregon for my birthday and i got a N64 my first game was mario kart i remember there was a 21 year old guy there who played me i muredred him from the second i picked up the controller i was a force to be rekoned with i only lost two games in the time i had a N64('99 to’01) i could never find anyone who could beat me then i got a Xbox i owned in halo/ halo 2 via xbox live but i did lose more once i started playing online i found people who were a lot better than me i dont like the PS2’s online but i still own at killzone online thats my gaming history (the two matches i lost in concors bad furday were to my father the only time he has and never will again got a lucky shot)
Along time ago when i was 3 my brother who was 14 tought me how to play Super Mario Kart on the SNES he then showed me the NES even tho older the games are way harder plus u cant save which is really annoying.
I must admit i was only decent at the SNES games and thts all i played really until i was 11 when i bought a PS2 2nd hand. Im now one of the best gamers in our year if not the school. Ive become a legend at some online games such as TSFP and RTCW.
Thts my gaming career up 2 now really
