Yeah, I mean, at least they didn’t name all their consoles NES, NES 2, NES 3, NES4 ,etc. Sony really needs to come up with names for their consoles that are actually differentfrom the last names.

Yeah but Sony should realize that people will get confused on what the difference between a PS2 and PS3 is. Imagine a kid asking his mom for a PS3, she would think he already has one because he has a PS2.

Correction Microsoft has no innovation, there only big time game is Halo, and that isn’t exactly the most original idea on the planet. I haven’t heard of a single X-Box game aside form Halo and Morrowind(Okay I’m not sure how to spell that) which was originally on a microsoft counsle or exclusive to a microsoft counsle.

I hope to God that Microsoft does not get exclusive rights to Rockstar, they’ve already raped Rare, we don’t need Rockstar to go in the same fashion.

...you need to think past what is given to you. Microsoft has plenty of good games, such as Ninja Gaidan. In fact, they have the same number of great games than Sony, whereas Sony has tons of games, but most of them suck.

Socom and Rachet and Clank are both great series, and awesome game series Grand Theft Auto,WWE Smackdown,DBZ Budokai,Resident Evil and Tomb Raider all orginated on a playstation systems. I’ve never been much of a Final Fantasy fan, but I’d say that FF’s franchise is bigger than Halo. God of War has my interest too. Sony games don’t “suck”.

plus the xbox and 360 gets all the great pc games that sony does not get! like:

i can go on...

and Metal Gear Solid started on the nes..and there is a Metal Gear Solid game on the xbox as well as the gamecube!

Why don’t we say that the Xbox and Playstation both have good games and leave it at that?
This is after all supposed to be a discussion on the name of the new Nintendo console.

Far Cry started out on PC

Even if Metal Gear Solid started out on NES, Sony they still have huge franchises. Nothing Microsoft has come out with has been nearly as big as FF or GTA.

PS3 is yet to be released, so no one can really judge it. Who knows? Something like Assian’s Creed could become huge.

I don’t know if I should be happy or sad that Microsoft hasn’t announced a Banjo-Kazooie game yet. Thank God Nintendo still has the rights to Donkey Kong, even though Rare has been sold to Microsoft.

BTW Half-Life 2 will be coming out on PS3

and KOTOR 1 and 2 have won more awards than any FF game on a sony console!

Okay my bad about FF and MGS
As for GTA, WTF Better graphics don’t automatically make a better game and I have San Andreas and Liberty Stories for the PS2 and I’ve never neither of those games have I ever had a slow down.
As for Assians Creed, I have heard like nothing about it, I just looked on gamefaqs for a PS3 game that sounded cool and could potienitally be a best seller.

Nintendo>Sony>>>Microsoft That’s how I put it.

I wonder if Nintendo hasn’t come up with a Wii game that they own or have the rights to make.

Hell we got new Mario,DK,Fire Emblem,Zelda,Super Smash Bros,Resident Evil,Sonic,Metroid,DBZ,Animal Crossings,Wario, Metal Slug, and God knows what else coming at us.

ps2 has way more better games.
i got bored as hell in halo after i killed the first 2 grunts....then i turned off the game and returned it lol

besides ps2 has god of war 1 and 2
they have the kh franchise
they have the final fantasy franchise
they have the jak franchise
they have the gta franchise (well not anymore kinda)
they have resident evil franchise
they have guitar hero
they have ratcet and clank franchise
they have MGS series
list goes on and on..........
