Rap is for sheep. Rock and Metal are for individuals. Rappers still have not learned how to branch out to other forms of music. What I’ve noticed about rappers is that they hate any form of music with instruments in them and not only just rock. The reason for that is because they have primitive minds and cannot absorb tempo changes in music. They want the same beat and that’s what they get in each and every song. All you rappers are conformists. Follow the crowd. That’s all I’ve seen from you. Fitting in is so overrated. I wish norms would go away.
dumbaaasss. zach dela rocha is(or was) a rapper. he rapped in a band, yes with drums and guitars.many other rappers also have guitar sounds in their music. and u oviously havent stuck ur head underground. theres so many different sounding rap there. and who u callin a norm? everybody’s a fuckin norm. xept tha retarded.

Cisco Kid Guest | Personally,I think any music made after 1990 blows. That includes rap, rock, country, all of it.The best music was in the 80,s.Everything was new and fresh. When the 90,s hit everything that was made was a remake of older songs. The metal guitar got heavier in rock and screaming replaced harmony. The bass took over in rap,and now all you hear is base.(Somehow they left out the treble and midrange)the firt rap, with a guy moving a record back and forth was creative at first. Then it got old fast.So a more updated rap was born.Hip-Hop.A combo of rap and pop.Call me old but I consider good music being anything you can understand the words, hear harmonizing, and dance to it in a civilized way.Not dryhumping and haveing imagimary sex with someone on a dance floor. But thats another story.

Snoop Kitty Kat Guest | Rap is the worst excuse for music ever. Only moronic ghetto trash and equally pathetic and stupid “wiggers” enjoy it. If you are a rap fan, you ought to be ashamed, but liking rap demonstrates you are too stupid to know better anyway.
Rap is the worst thing that has ever happened to the black community. It glorifies everything bad about it and makes evil, disgusting criminals into heroes. Again, if you like rap, you are a moron, because only a moron would want to put money in the pockets of gang-bangers and crack dealers.
Stupid assholes.

Snoop Kitty Kat Guest | And one more thing, rappers ... learn to fucking spell. Your retarded mis-spelling of words isn’t cool; it’s just a cover-up for the fact that you can barely read and write.
And all the stupid names ... 50 Cent? Jay Z? LL Cool Jay? Dr. Dre? Ghosface “Killah”? What, are you so deeply ashamed of the appalling shit you record that you have to use an alias?
Here’s a rap lyric for you:
“I’m rapping. It’s not a song
It’s just a poor excuse to get the language wrong."
Rap: Music for and by retards. Guess that’s what “FUBU” really means!

ur a stupid dumbass. rap is just a tool. it doesnt glorify “everything bad”. ur complaining like if i bash ur ugly face, u blame tha bat. people can use rap to rap about good things or they can rap about stupid shit. so blame tha user not tha tool.

mullet-home Guest | I hate rap. I hate everything about it. It’s like those frozen coffee drinks from Dunkin' Donuts, there is no flavor to it. It’s tasteless.
To hell with rap.
That is just my opinion, please do not flame me. You shouldn’t care what I think. I also don’t care what you think.
Sorry if I look mean or rude. I try not to be.
If you think I’m rude then you should have seen me on a message board 3 years ago, calling someone a “gay retard”.
Hahahahaha.

the only people who don’t like rap enough to insult that genre of music is people who don’t listen to it. If you don’t listen t oit (which most of you have made clear) you have no right to talk about whats bad about it. You obviously go by steriotypes and rumors spread by people of a community who needs to learn to deconstruct lyrics and songs to find out what they are really about.

bonjour Rep: 2 Joined: 25 Aug 2005 Posts: 8,307 OFFLINE | No, I responded using the same steriotypes you were using towards rap, next generalizing an entire group of music into somply “you rappers” is extremely stupid. Make steriotypes like that is what fuels thing like racism, there are different types of rap and rock too.
However you look at rap as being all about sex drugs, and crimes. Well I could look at rock and say the same thing, however I would only be adressing death metal and other genres like that. I don’t like rock (And I have heard some of the popular bands out now) because in my opinion they have bad voices, they have extreme talens for their instrument but seem tone deaf.
However I won’t go as far to say as all rock people suck, which is exactly what “you rockers” are doing by making a topic like this.

whoa buddy, I said most of you rappers meaning the ones that sterotype rock the same ways some of the rockers sterotype rap. I know rap isn’t all about sex drugs etc. but I still don’t like you. So don’t you fucking put word in my mouth and if you have nothing else to say then keep your fucking mouth shut. I never said anything about sterotyping rap. I said most of you rapper or most of you rap fans sterotype rock the same way.
