1. There was and still is a drought of games of ANY kind on the GC, whether they be good or bad.
2. Most of the games are aimed at a younger audience, alienating many potential GC buyers, which in turn spawns assumptions that the same will pass on the Wii.

ya, i cant argue with that. while the gc did have mature games, they didn\'t have enough. and, it lacked third party support. all i can say is that the wii is looking to solve both of those problems. but, the big question is, will people be able to see that, or will they not be able to look past the gc.

And if Sony didn’t get into gaming then there was no way in hell MS would be in it. So haha Nintendo created the competition too. Ya hate Nintendo then ya hate MS and Sony. Enjoy.

Haha actually no we can’t say it goes that way. It’s more without Nintendo joining in for what companies like Atari almost destroyed the industry haha. Nintendo came in and saved the industry from total bankruptcy. That’s a fact.
Atari is the father of gaming and no one denies that but that does not mean they made gaming as to where it is now. It does not go both ways cause it’s different. Atari didn’t get Nintendo into gaming. That was an internal decison by Nintendo. Nintendo started project playstation with Sony which later Nintendo dropped and Sony kept going. It’s entirely different.
Now without Atari hey gaming may not be where it is today. But Nintendo revived gaming with the NES and that can’t be denied.

Haha I’d never leave. But when I think of the father’s of gaming I think of Atari and Nintendo. Atari started it all and Nintendo revived it. I think that’s a fair asessment.
