lol, you kids have fun playing your generic FPS that is designed for kids.
Really? Metroid Prime is for a younger audience, smartass. It’s for teens, suitable for ages 13 and older. Halo on the other hand, is rated M for mature, suitable for ages 17 and older. So, Metroid is more for kids.

Metroid Prime destroys it in every way. Visuals are much better
There is not a Metroid game that looks better than Halo 2. Metroid Prime 1 and 2 were made on the Gamecube. Halo 2 is on Xbox. As obvious as it is, Halo 2 has more graphics and much better visuals than any Metroid game. Halo 3 will utterly destroy Metroid Prime 3 in graphics and visuals. There’s no doubt about it.
asfaf wrote:
sound is much better
Hmm...Gamecube supports only Pro Logic II, while Xbox and Xbox 360 support Dolby Digital Surround. Digital Surround is better than Pro Logic II as far as i know. Wii will also support Pro Logic II like the Gamecube. Halo 2 has better sound than Metroid Prime 1 & 2. Halo 3 will have much better sound than Metroid Prime 3, definitely.
asfaf wrote:
so gameplay in Prime destroys halo’s repetitive kiddy gunplay
For one thing, i doubt you’ve played Halo. Gameplay is different in many people’s perspective. Some think Halo’s gameplay is better than Metroid’s gameplay and vice versa. Halo becomes repetitive if you’re bad at it and keep dying over and over. It’s challenging. Metroid is more of a 'kiddy' game than Halo as i’ve already explained.
asfaf wrote:
and metroid prime lasts longer too.
Considering Halo is more popular for it’s Multiplayer and online play, which Metroid doesn’t have, except for Hunters which is for the DS.

Metroid Prime isn’t for kids. Halo is.
Incorrect. Look above.
asfaf wrote:
So you pre-puberty teens trying to look cool by playing Halo, you phail.
Funny coming from someone who just spelled 'fail' wrong. People playing Halo aren’t trying to look cool, they’re trying to have a better videogame experience.
asfaf wrote:
Those who really are “matture”, buy Metroid Prime.
Considering Metroid is mostly targeted towards Teens ages 13 and older while Halo is mostly targeted towards mature people ages 17 and older.
asfaf wrote:
Halo is a digusting flop who is only worshipped by Halo nerds because it is the only game they have ever played
Halo is a great franshise, which i’m into. i’ve played Dragonball Z Budokai 1 & 3, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Tekken 4 $ 5, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden Black, Dead or Alive 2 3 & 4, Soul Calibur 2, and i like Halo.

Lawl what because it contains blood? No my friend I was talking about the gameplay. Halo is designed for kids, it’s so easy. Blood is thrown in there to increase the rating. Metroid’s gameplay doesn’t require blood because it’s all about the gameplay. The Metroid gameplay is for adults. So Halo = kiddy, Prime = hardcore/adult.
All Metroid Prime games look better than Halo 2. That’s not to mention that expecting Prime 3 to look like Halo 3 is pathetic and clutching for straws. Everyone knows the Wii is the weaker console.
I own both games and Metroid Prime is better. The gameplay destroys Halo. halo is just another kiddy FPS camouflaged by blood to make it seem matture, when it’s not.
The top ten games ever made, with all the professional reviews on average. Look which game is higher. Oh wait it’s Metroid Prime! At number three, while Failo could only make number 7.
metroid may be a good game,
but the reason people like halo are:
-Fast paced and addictive multiplayer
-decent graphics
-Great story line (books, games, movie)

Harder gameplay does not make a game more 'mature'. You obviously haven’t played Halo 2. Halo 2 on legendary is nearly impossible to beat. If you play it, you wouldn’t be saying it’s easy. You’d be getting your ass whooped.

Sure, in you’re little mind. How old are you again?

Halo 3 looks much better than Metroid Prime 3. Go back a page and see what i mean.

There are more than 1 game in both franchises, so i don’t know which games you’re talking about. You’ve obviously haven’t tried playing Halo 2 on legendary, because you wouldn’t be saying it’s easy. Halo 2 on legendary is almost impossible to beat.

That’s comparing Metroid Prime to Halo. Personally, i don’t like the first Halo as much as i like Halo 2. Halo 2 is better in my opinion. Those games are pretty much old now. Here’s a more recent comparison:
Halo 2 recieved better scores. Two of those came from the website you’ve posted. Halo 3 will get a higher rating than Metroid Prime 3, also. That’s what’s expected.

lol Halo 2 can’t even make the top 10 games list on gamerankings. Therefore Metroid Prime > Halo > Halo 2.

Metroid Prime was in 2002. That’s pretty old now. Not to mention on Gamespot, Halo and Metroid Prime had equal ratings. You’re not up to date; Halo 2 slaughtered Metroid Prime 2. So far, Halo 3 is looking like it’ll do pretty much the same to Metroid Prime 3.

Yeah and? Obviously Metroid Prime was better for it’s time than Halo 2 was. Just like Metroid Prime was better for it’s time than Halo: Combat Evolved was. So Prime is the better than both Halos. Halo 2 only slaughtered Prime 2 because of multiplayer, Prime 2 still focused majorly on the single player. So did the original Metroid Prime, and on single player alone it outscored both Halos. It just goes to show that Metroid single player is superior.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the best game ever made. That doesn’t change as the years go bye. It’s the experience at the time that counts.
Oh and finally, Gamerankings is far fairer than gamespot because it does an average, and Metroid Prime outscores both Halos there. Gamespot gave a Tony Hawk game a 10 for crying out loud.
Yet neither Halo was able to outscore Prime lol. And gamerankings > Gamespot. That’s not to mention, standards rise as time goes by. The 9.7 Prime got is better than the 9.7 Halo got.

Metroid Prime is an old game. You don’t like facing the fact Halo 2 got better ratings than Prime 2. Yes, Prime was popular at it’s time. But is it popular now? No. Don’t be stuck in the past. The more current ratings are more important.

The scores say it all, Prime > Halo > Halo 2.
Prime is an old game, as i’ve already said. Now it isn’t popular.
