Halo 3... could it and Gears of ar really be the Playstation killer???

Well... i think people who confine them selves to the ps3 only will miss out on some good 360 games, but i don’t think Halo or GoW will stop the ps3... but they might put a dent in it, nothing more.

Anyone have an idea?

The PS3 has too many fan favorites to let Halo or Gears of War even slightly damage it’s sales. Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII being two of the most popular ones.

NEREVAR117 - ya you are right.
even attack of the show said that gears of war will hurt the ps3 sales big time because there is almost 1 million pre orderes (in North america) for the game. and the ps3 is coming out 5 days after GoW.
and memeber when halo 2 came out sony had gta san andreas to fight against it.
now the gta4 will be on both the 360 and ps3.
so when halo 3 comes out it might but a few “dents” in the ps3 to.


...plus never count out games like Toohuman, Mass Effect, Lost Planet and Crackdown. these games were awarded at e3 and also could be big hits when they comeout...

True... but i was focussing on the major games coming out, but i would never forget good games like Toohuman.
