Yes, I think Metroid is often times raised to the status of “legendary” by its fans, but I do not see what makes it better than Halo at all. Also, MGS isn’t very overrated, and neither is Zelda (although I didn’t care for Wind Waker).

What I do think GTA is overrated haha. Got a problem with that.

No i agree GTA is definitely overrated. Halo and MP not so much. They are both great games, but Halo is much closer to “legendary” status than MP.

Same basic guns, only there’s aliens and a gamepad rather than a keyboard. I think the original Metroid, on the NES and SNES were much better. Halo is just given so much “OMFG HALO IS SEW FUKING AWSOME I BEET IT 44983 TIMES ON LEGENDERY AND GOT A WHOLE BNCH OF OTHER SHIT LAWL IF U DONT LYK HALO UR GAY” and it’s just like every other FPS... ---

Halo did more with limited arsenal than many FPS games do with double the amount of guns. Furthermore I’ll just point to this article to explain why I believe this game deserves such recognition.
