Recent times is proof enough.

Just now arounf 400 spam topics popped up in like 12 minutes, now the mods are deleting them all and it is taking forever.

And don’t forget Bjarne the incident with the 'rev suck' topic and the chaos after that, not to mention casual riots here and there.

Then the huge spamming happens, this has fone on long enough!

We need more moderators, plz the site just needs a extra moderator or two.

No. We don’t. That was an isolated incident.

Eventually we got rid of the spammer.

For occasions like this I don’t think a new Mod is needed, this doesn’t happen very often at all, if it gets frequent then we may need more mods.

And if anyone was going to become a MOD, it would be a respectable member who has been here a while. Not some new guy who just walks in here a month ago.

SA-X, i believe it’s Bjarnes call, and it was not isolated, if he wanted to he could have done the entire site like that.

And even when WEEMAN said he was banned... 3 minutes later the spamming is continuing.

Face it SA-X, there need to be more mods, just deal with it.

If i wanted to i could hack into this site and shut it down... bye bye moviecodec.

Anyone can do it if they want to, all i’m saying is this site needs more 'protecter'.

But like i said, it is Bjarnes call.

This is as much my descision as it is his, only he has the ultimate descision.

Weeman banned him alright, but the spammer had an I.P. masker.

There doesn’t need to be any more. There is enough law enforcement as it is.

Oh wow, “I could hack the site," big wow, better stay away from this guy! Are you going to hack me? Fill my computer up with viruses? Bullshit.

This site needs more “protecter?" I have no idea what that meant.

With that specific incident, more moderators wouldn’t make a difference, maybe make the cleanup faster but a couple of minutes whoopdeedoo...

I could hack you’r computer easily, me and my brother have done it before.

And Tyreaus Rhade, i’m asking Bjarne to consider a another mod or two, thats all, no use acting sarcastic about what i’m requesting.

Also SA-X, seriously, i have only noticed you act like... you, when i post in a topic were you are or in one of my topics.

The thing is i’m not some guy who has only been here a while, i have been here on this site for more then a year, i would occasionally pop in and out to check up on things.

Estimates are poor. Get something with a date on it. I can say I’ve been on this site for 3 years.

Bjarne, as stating hundreds of times before, is not accepting MOD applications, nor will he unless a current MOD is demoted.

You may have misread what I said, the only part I was sarcastic about is the cleanup being a bit faster. Otherwise, having more moderators wouldn’t help anything in these kind of incidents, as it is the unisolated incidents are taken care of very quickly with the moderators that we have now, and with these other kind of incidents, more moderators wouldn’t make much of a difference.
Everything is fine as it is, we don’t need more mods.

And when the time comes that more moderators are needed then Bjarne will appoint them appropriatly, but nobody can predict the future so it’s better to play it one step at a time.
