Umm that is quite possibly the WORST solution to the problem... you can’t simply bomb nations just because you BELIEVE there are terrorists harbored in them... and even if there are terrorists that doesn’t give you an excuse to kill thousand’s of innocent people...

Hmm I could point out that the US tends to only “help countries in need” when there is an economic benefit....so I would question whether there are truly altruistic motives For example - both the U.S. and Canada (no we are not innocent either for all that we try to claim we are) kept surprisingly silent when all the killing was going on in East Timor. Why? We had a good trading system going on with Indonesia...and journalists in either Canada or the U.S. who wished to write on the situation in East Timor were not permitted to.
Years later stories about East Timor started hitting our news. Newspapers wanted to give us the impression that “wow....all this was going on and we didn’t know *cough* *cough”.
Also, the countries that have terrorists in them are not entirely peopled by terrorists. We have people in Canada and the US who gun innocents in schools and universities....but do we therefore say the entire country is filled with murderers and deserves to be bombed?
I could also add that when our countries are allied with another we call the people who engage in terrorist activities “freedom fighters”. When we are not they are called “terrorists”.
