I wouldn’t trust Microsoft with helping Nintendo make their games such as Mario or Zelda.

True there are games that are best left to be developed by the first parties themselves, look at the star fox franchise Star Fox and Star Fox 64 were great and nintendo made them, Star Fox adventrues and Star Fox Assult were pretty good but they were made by rare and Namco. Star Fox had a hard time with those games but then Nintendo made Star Fox command and it put the series right back on a good course.

Well FF characters being in a Zelda game is unlikely, but FF characters being in a Zelda spin-off or mutlti franchise game (melee) is fairly likely. Nintendo and Square Enix are on pretty good terms now.
