I don’t believe I’ve seen anyone other than GQ and someone else be offended at your posts.

Yeah that’s something people learn to do in 1st or 2nd grade. It’s called Addition.

Well it depends on whether he does it on paper or in his head. When it comes to more complicated math or higher numbers most people can’t do it in their head.

I once had a boyfriend who could do math in an instant. You’d say something like - “help what’s 1/16 of 1/8?" and he’d tell you the answer without even thinking about it.

Well I didn’t have to think about that. That’s easy 1/16 is 1/2 of 1/8. But yes that’s is an awesome skill to do it in your head with multiple number as high as that. However, what separates man-kind from the rest of the animals is the use of tools. Calculator, bling bling wink wink

Umm...yes that would be the answer if I were asking “what is 1/16”. However I was asking what is 1/16 OF 1/8 wink Say you are cooking and you have an eighth of a cup measuring cup - what I am asking then is what is 1/16 of the eighth of a cup.

Here’s a caculator.

But what is it in a fraction? Of course you can just BS me on this - no way I’ll know the answer. Just making a point - it’s quite an accomplishment for someone to be able to just immediately tell you the fraction of something like that.
