His brain is just too busy, like ADHD sufferers. I speak from experiance as a sufferer myself.
You get labeled weird, but people expect you to do weird shit and say things that no normal person would say.
I say no to meds, it is a big part of who i am and hey, my missus is fine with that...life isn’t the same when you know someone with ADHD. LIFE IS SUDDENLY FILED WITH SPONTANIOUS CRAZY BULLSHIT.
If i had a dollar for everytime i embarresed someone or got people to just hang their head and shake it slowly from side to side chuckling to them selves.....shit too much money to count, tax man would have a field day..

Robin Williams aint gay, deffinetly not, I would know, the world would know already.... i think. Funny as hell though even in serious roles sometimes.
