I don’t support this idea. The concept of having old topics is so that if somebody searches for a topic on google (this site is optimized for google searches), then they might find it. However, deleting or archiving old posts may be a problem.
Well... I don’t know how to fix that problem... However... I don’t think a cut off date of three months would affect the google searches that much. I dunno... how would archiving pose a problem? They would mearly be moved to another section that doesn’t allow people to post in it. If somebody searches on google it would still show up they just wouldn’t be able to post in it.

Old threads as in ones that haven’t had a post in months, they sink into oblivion then stupid people go back and dig them up. If Goku vs Superman has been keeping active then it’s okay, however it it became a dead thread and people stoped posting in it I wouldn’t want some dumbass to come back and start the argument back up. You understand what I’m saying?
Maybe there should be new section called “Locked Topics” or something like that so if you want to go back and look at old topics that were locked, they’re easily accessible. There’s some good ones that I still try to go find because they were a big part of moviecodec at one time, or I just liked them.
Hmm that actually sounds like an interesting idea... Now that I think about it some topics that were locked were legendary... maybe they should have a sort of resting ground...
