Hey, My Name Is Graham, I am A Semi Pro Gamer, But Today I’m Going To Talk About Limiting Yourself On How Much Time You Spend Playing Video Games A Day. Sure Playing Video Games Is Fun, But Is It Really Going To Help Your Future? Take It From Me, Its Not Good Pay, For Anything Like Gaming Tournaments, To Game Testing. Now You Might Want A Good Reason Why Gaming Non Stop Isn’t Good, Well When Your Older, Your Going To Realize You Missed Out On Alot On Life, Gamming Is Almost Like Doing Drugs Almost, Somethings You Might Miss, A Date With A Girl/Guy, Parties, To Other Fun Activitys. Also There Are Many Other Things To Learn Than Being A Good Gamer, Learning A Programming Langauge Such As Visual Basic 6, Or Even Learning Proper Gaming Design. I’ve Learned This First Hand, Here Is A Example Of A Part Of My Life, When I Was Addicted To Games. At Age 14, I Would Play Games Non Stop, I Had a Halo 2 Clan Called Debian Clan, We Were A Group Of Modders, I Gamed Non Stop Day And Night, All I Talked About Was Gaming, I Missed Out On So Much, I Missed Out On Pratically My Whole jrHigh Expearince, All Because I Was Addicted To Games. Than I started To Drift Away From Games Realizing How Much Of Life, I Am Missing, And How Little I Was Learning. When I Got Off Gaming Addiction At Age 15, (current Age) I Started A Website For Game Hacking, Called 247Hardbytes.net it was a site for computer hacking, and I was Learning a Whole Lot More, When Not Addicted To Games, I started seeing changes immiedetly right when I got off my addiction To Games, I had G/f’s, And A Understanding Of Game Design, And Programming. So The Main Point I’m Trying To Pass To Game Addicts Take A Hour Out Of Your Gaming Life To Get Out There, Or Learn Some Shit.

well, they are very much in common, drugs put you in a fantasy land, video games put you in a fantasy land, time flys when your on drugs, time flys when your playing video games, and lots of more simmilarites, also, who would u rather be leveling up, yourself or a game character

and dont get mad at me, for saying this, the real reason y u would be mad to hear this, is if you are a game adict because you centered your life on gaming.

My brother owns a PS2 and a 360, and I have access to them both from 8 am to 5 pm... I just don’t play games as much as I used to.

I only play when I have something to play. The last game I played for long amounts of time was Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, I’d spend 3-5 hours a day playing it, this was about two months back I think... I dunno whenever the game was released. It took me 4 days to beat it, sense then I’ll play maybe an hour a week.

Meh I know I’m not addicted to gaming at least, however when the Wii is released chances are I’ll be playing for hours a day for a while *i.e until I beat the new Zelda Game*

Why do you capitalize every single word on the first post? It hurts my brain.

I only play for about 2-4 hours a day, own a PC, GameCube and a PS2. Haven’t touched the GameCube for months, although I do like the games I have for it a lot. Yet, I still have time to do loads of things, ie. Community Service, Scorekeeping for my school, fundraising for a class trip to France, play sports, and more.

well actually thts not why they ban drugs.
drugs can cause u to do idiotic things like roasting a baby in d oven or smashing windows getting pregnant etc.
and it also cuses brain damage! and u can become addicted to it making u dish out loads of cash!

gaming how ever. u don’t smash windows get pregnant or ruin ur social lives, unless ur a nerd and loner, and best of all! no brain damage(excluding head banging from being shot) sure it may giv ya rsi but i play games heaps and i havnt got sore thumbs.

jst b4 i leave i recomend u rent out

I heard u rant on this site lots of time, but before I reply, I’d like to tell you that you a noob, who is just good at grammar and english. Games can cause a adreniline rush of violence, games can get so intense, that you want to go throw a baby through a window, because it makes ur a mood swing, in many ways, as drugs do.
