Samus has too much to her advantage. She has weapons that can be upgraded to be stronger; x-ray visor to pinpoint the weakest spot on a target; lasers that go through walls; plenty of homing weaponry; hell she morphs into a ball and drops bombs.
Master Chief has limited ammo and old school weaponry, Samus plasma cannon would melt most of the weaponry he can use. Most of the stuff Master Chief uses is primitive by Metroid-verse standards, armor and defenses have evolved to the point where bullets are ineffective and plasma is the way to go.
This is why I don’t like Samus vs any powered armor warrior. There is no contest, Samus out resources all of them and has been around much longer. Before people start “yea but Master Chief started when he was six years old, he was trained to kill” Samus watched her mother get butchered in front of her and began training by the metroid equivalent of the forerunners at the tender age of 4. She has handled pirates responsible for Intergalactic Genocide and Bio-Terrorism on a constant basis BY HERSELF. She is not part of “an elite military unit” or a “super soldier” in the army. It’s just her in the suit with her ship, nothing else.
Don’t get me wrong I love the Halo Series and Master Chief is definitely bad ass, but this is Samus Aran we are talking about, not some random set of boobs and butt.
