and if you are an indication of the types of gamers that are out there now, the wii is EXACTLY what the market needs. if art forms in games now make their graphics awful, then there truly does need to be change in the market.
thats bound to happen with any new thing. people are going to build games around it. use it as a gimmick. but, that doesn’t change the fact that there are plenty of games using the remote perfectly. if you’re to close minded to see that, then go back to your $600 power house. lets see how long they stand up to the wii.

Besides the motion sensitive controls of the Wii are NOTHING new. It’s basicly the Power Glove thing recycled. just like they recycle the same games over and over again, both good ans shitty ones.
Of course if you see awful gameplay as fun and challenging knock yourself out.
I’d rather use the Wii controller to strangle myself if someone has ever the horrid idea to buy me one.
Besides many people complained about 3 things:
- games out fro the Wii are mostly a load of BS, only very few shine
- the controller is frustrating... who the hell want to waggle aroud a stich for Pete’s sake?!
- Graphics are below standard comapred to other consoles.
PS3... oh might Playstation 3. Certainly the most powerful console out there... but virtually NO BLOODY GAMES FOR IT!
Of course you are not going to buy a PS3 that costs way more than a Wii and has much fewer games.
And the Xbox360 has experienced hardware problem. That is why the Wii has beated them.
If PS3 would cost less and have more games and XBox360 fixes the gremlins inside the box Wii would not stand a chance, exept with Kiddies, Old People and Stupids.
