the reason there arn’t any more episodes is because overprotective parents think it’s to violent.

No, its because ratings of the show went down in Japan, especially after GT.

No, it’s because Akira Toriyama wanted to end it with Frieza, but the Manga dragged out to Buu. So by the time he was done with Buu, AT was kinda sick and tired of DB and Toei butchered everything else from there.

Theres that and the fact that according to ratings DBZ was losing popularity. Toei made DBGT to try to revive the series, but it was the worst of the DB series and was quickly cancelled. Anyway EB V3 I have a question, would you have preffered he ended it at the Frieza saga or continue on?

It would have been better if they just ended it at Frieza. No cyborg version he just died and stayed dead. But then they jumped the shark with SS2, 3, and 4. Those were just lame.

Either way it doesn’t really matter to me anymore. I started losing interest in DBZ once GT came plus all the fans that overrate it(no I’m not talking to you UltimateLegendary or your friends). Plus that guy who said it was real and thought he was the reincarnation of Goku just ruinied it for me.

Such violence.... Yes I agree with Mr. Black. People around me just put too much into over playing it. I got tired of it and moved on. I watch naruto now and just reflect on DBZ.

And yet another reason why I hate DBZ. Fans go crazy when you say one thing bad about it. Now then I’m a fan of One Piece, when a guy said he didn’t I accepted his opinion. You on the otherhand act like most DBZ fans and go crazy, grow the fuck up.

DBZ is just another overpopular anime series that suffers from the “cash cow disease”.

I respect Akira Toriyama, and the series had some substance before the return from Namek.

Seriously, the whole thing was set up to end. Goku was in the roughest fight ever. Peril was around him. Destruction, fear, you name it. On top of that, he reached that legendary form, the Super Saiyen. It was something to behold.

BUT, thanks to its extreme popularity at the time, they wanted more episodes made. So, Toriyama did it. However, it went from “Super Saiyen is the phenomenon” to “Everyone goes Super Saiyen every five minutes”. Bad enough the show had a bad story and simple characters and was only delving even further into crap.

By the middle of the Cell saga, the show reached a point of hard suck.

DBZ fell it was hot in japan but now it is fallen there and it used to be hot here but it is nothing now. DB was okay for the first series but DBZ started to fall after the freiza saga and they just draged it all on and it became much worse with each passing episode. DBGT was the worst and utter crap, it is one of the worst animes now and no reason to watch it anymore, I rather watch Bleach and Naruto because those have a better storyline and they don’t make crap all the time like DBZ did.

I used to hate DBZ really bad; I remember watching Goku throw the Spirit Bomb at Frieze and saying, “Wow, this is retarded." But, when Buu saga came around, I actually started to like it and watched all the way to the end of GT. I liked the action and characters of DBZ and the story completion of GT. Didn’t really like Dragonball because it was too slow, not much action; Piccolo (sp?) was the only good part of it, IMO.

P.S. Inferno, Naruto sucks.

greenearth you are pretty much the exact opposite of the hardcore DB fans.

I used to like the Anime, but now I hate it. The DB/DBZ Manga is much better. The fights don’t drag out, powerups take like one panel rather than 5 minutes, a lot less plot holes, but best of all no crappy fillers! The only real plot holes in the manga that I can come up with is Cell getting his head blown off, regenerating, and then later stating he can regenerate as long as the cell in his head is intact. Anime DBZ has like a hundred of them.

I liked Dragonball Z... It WAS an awesome show until they ruined it with GT... and when it became old... And the Cell Sagas were awesome. Gohan FTW!
