If your referring to the Ing trying to take over Samus, then your only half right. The only reason Samus was able to resist the Ing from taking over her body is because she absorbed the “Light Enegry transfer module” from a Dark Splinter Alpha. It makes no difference. Eve does not put anything into Samus, her weapon is already existent in all life forms: Mitochondria.

Since, technically, mitochondria are separate life forms from the cells, they have a “will” of their own, sorta. Eve, however, has a link with all mitochondria, and thus, can use them as weapons against normal people. The only defense is to actually have the Eve parasite within your own cells, but even at that, Aya (the protagonist of PE) would feel extreme heat from the ATP in her mitochondria.

Samus loses. Nothing she can do will allow her to survive, and besides, the Ultimate Being (Eve’s child) is so damn powerful that its mere cry destroyed an entire naval fleet, so even if Samus could survive Eve’s control over her mitochondria, she would still get raped by Eve’s sheer power.

I digress though.

If you mean her shields, than no. Those wouldn’t block anything. Eve’s mere presence causes mitochondria to act up.
