No, it is not, the average gamer con’t even use half of it’s main potential, so if you buy it and you don’t use everything on it, you have technically wasted money.
A PS3 is not even at its full potential without a blue-ray TV, it just makes it cost so much more money for you you really do waste your money on just a PS3, IF you have seen G4 and the most recent morgen minute you would know that this was the truth, all the people who waited in line for a PS3 only wanted one so they could sell them on ebay for higher prices just to make money.

ignore all of them, everyone new the ps3 wouldnt sell much at first cus everyone is poor and cant aford a measly 600$ for a blu ray player(like dvd but with far more features and most of all 1080 p support)
even if u dont have an HD tv which alot of wii owners do have, just go to wiihaveaproblem.com just about every owner of the wii there has an hd tv, so the av gamer does have an hd tv, and the ps3 is made for the long run, theres gona be hit exlcusives like mgs4, final fantasy, kingdom hearts 3, resistance fall of man.
and if you want to buy a console for graphics even if your not picky then choose the ps3, it has the most potential of them all! remember how gears of war uses over 50% of the 360s power, on the ps3 it would only use 20-30% not a single launch title for the ps3 uses over 20% of the power, the games so far seem similar becuase.
1. the ps3 is brand new and developers need to learn how to develope for it.
2.developers are developing the best they can at the moment, so the graphics are maxed out for this month but will improve later on and the difference between ps3 and 360 will become massive, the ps3 is tiwce as powerful as the 360.
also blu ray is used for games making them massive!

Yeah one problem with that P.Moore loged out, you want to know why that website was made? It was because of all the morons playing the wii who do not even know how to use it right, I have the first type of strap and it has not broken on me yet mainly because I use a moderate amount of motion not a whole force swing to what the idoits have been doing.
