hey does anyone know in the temple in the sky when you have to turn on the fan to move the things so you can get to the boss how do you reach the switch on the ceiling pls i need help

yo! plz help im in the room with the fourth monkey and robotic worms under the tiles,but the thing is i cant get to the cage (i got the key),i was wonderin why is there 2 torches that arent lit and 2 that are wut do i do???~_~

you go up to them and pull your lamp out and swipe at it.
