I don’t see how that is funny. If anything it’s good for Sony as well as Sony fans, which there are still a lot of.

A cheaper PS3 is good and is already making me wish I had just bought a Wii and waited for that cheaper PS3.

Blu-ray failing doesn’t mean anything. The format was bound to fail but the PS3 is actually picking up, the opposite of what that report implies.

Alot, it only means it won’t have that big a gap in graphics or it may since it will be using a more familiar format. It also means 360 is possibly screwed over seeing how the PS3 prices for the new version will be significantly cheaper and overall.

Possible, but highly unlikely, the 360 is millions ahead of the ps3.

But i must agree, this could actually be a good thing for the ps3.

But wasn’t Sony betting everything on Blu-Ray? I remember reading A LOT of articles that said if Blu-Ray fails, PS3 fails.

Most 360 games don’t look that great and not many are pushing it to its full potential. That makes it very likely that the PS3, which already has games that look better even if it is by a small margin, will have better graphics.

If they push the 360 and they could possibly catch up but that is only if they push it.
