when I say governmentally I mean by military, Canada has an effective military, but numbers are few compared to the US

If I had a choise, I’d live there if I wanted to calm my life down and stay with my family. America is more active, like a teenager, it always gets itself into trouble one way or another.
Not to say that America (or United States because America is a Continent) is better then Canada, but its a little more modern, crazier, and fun.

Its quite and people tend to always know each other and whats going on in each others lives. I’d want that in my life, a little peace of land, quite town, my own buisness (coffee shop be nice), and a dog. Of course I’d have to convince my family but they would understand.

I’m sure there are.. somewhere
there are always exceptions to the rule
but just so you know..
It’s the second largest country, land mass, in the world. Canada has the worlds largest coastline at 243,792 km or 151,485 miles, but the water temperature is far from nice, in all but the freshwater lakes.
We have temperatures that go from Summertime highs of 30-35 celcius and winter lows of minus 30 {except this winter of freakish weather}
Most days in the summer, rival the weather of the carribean, but the winters can be the harshest thing you’ve ever felt
but we have these Comedian trees that grow wild all over the place, and every year at the harvest aka Just for Laughs festival. we pick the next generation of Canadian comedians {Ca-Medians} to take over telivision and movies

As for places being safe in America... I live near a chemical processing plant called the Anniston Army Depot... They said that in the event of a terrorist strike on the Depot we are to use certain safety measures to keep us from dying. The only problem is depending on wind speed we could have as little as a minute to prepare everything.
This is in Alabama, which is full of nothing but rednecks for the most part, we’re practically harmless down here, and yet we’re more likely to die then most other places because the military decided to put a dangerous chemical plant right in the center of a highly populated area.

We’re like the same only Canada has better health care, education, etc. Infact the only thing that american’s have that we don’t is famous people, guns, and army...which really arent important... Canada is so much more I dunno beautiful and diverse. well yeah I guess my opinion is bias because I live in Canada but yeah. o yeah but much like Bush, stephan Harper is a moron
