What do you think is the worst / cheapest weapon in any game? Be it a next gen game, or way last gen, or the gen before that etc.
For me the chepest weapon would be the Gears of war CHAINSAW (AKA Lancer). I think that the chainsaw is a little underbalanced as it’s a one hit KO and can be used froma fair few feet away.
Although i think the AWP in CS:S is a close second
Definatly Perfect Dark on the N64’s Laptop Gun.
Just lock yourself in a room, throw a couple of those baby’s out into the corridor and finish off who ever limps through the door with the proxy mines.
IF you have played MP2E mulitplayer it was good but when you were feeling that you could not find your opponents then you would just fire the annionaltor beam and it would track them down no matter where they were. Another cheap weapon is in MPH. It is the Imperialist when alone used by anyone else it is fine but what makes it cheap is that when trace gets a hold of it he is invisible while standing still with it also Trace was given one of the cheapest alt forms he can run very fast and do 50 damage a time when he hits someone. Many people use him because only for that because they cannot think of how to kill anyone else any other way. Only the cheap people choose to play as trace and either sinpe with him or just ram other people with him and never do anything else.
It shoots a constant beam of energy and it you can keep it on someone for about 2 seconds, they will be gibbed. That’s why a lot of servers make it cause damage to you as you use it.
that only lasts a short while. its in the game when your sourounded by hundreds of people, and it only last 10 seconds (ive counted) they removed the star from the game sience Super mario 64. The star now, is a part of the game, collecting them gets you further into the game.

I also think that the worm gun was cheap it always homed in on the nearest person and it had unlimited ammo and it recovered lost ammo in less then a second so it would never stop firing. Only good thing about it is that it was weak.

Cheap weapons? Well I can name a few

You can hardly call it invisible. I still see them even if they’re invisible.

The PPSH and Thompson SMG’s from Call of Duty 1@2, especially 2. There’s little defense against these fast firing beasts. The Trench Gun is also a bitch close range.
Flak Cannon from UT2004. Jesus, its pretty much a ricochet shotgun/grenade launcher that takes less skill than the Redeemer. Get good and use a Shock Combo. In Onslaught mode, watch out for a 5-manned Leviathan also.
This is offbeat, but the Psionic Storm from Starcraft. Get enough High Templars, and its game over for most ground.

I would not call the trench gun or tompson guns cheap. The trench gun is like any other shotgun in first person shooters, spreadshots that are deadly and good at midrange or good for using in narrow paths like Hallways. Calling the trench gun cheap is saying the shotgun in Halo is cheap or the shotgun in Half-life is cheap. The Tompson is just an SMG so it is like any other rapid fire guns weak rapid fire shots that have limited accuracy but it is good for mid-range attacking. The flak cannon is good but if used to much it can be cheap that is why in modes like onsluagt they made it hard to find because it is such a powerful weapon. Ricoshting shotgun blasts are not much to be called cheap. In MPH the judicator is a shotgun that fires only 1 or 3 shots at a time when charged that reflect a few times, perfect for Hallways and other closed spaces. I use the judicator whenever I enter small arenas online when it is avaible.
Worst weapon ever: battlehammer(unless you are a 3 star bot who can directly hit moving tagets in mid-air)
All the weapons from MPH were blanced to fit some certain type of weapon. Aside from the fact that most of the weapons can charge when fired normally they each had a certain kind of function
These are what the weapons are related too
Power Beam- A machine gun or Assult rifle for its rapid fire but weak shots
Volt Driver- A heavy Machine gun for firing faster then the powerbeam and being stronger but it is slighty less accurate and it has limited ammo. The charge shot makes it a powerful homing laucher but easy to avoid so the shot is a double-edged sword when attacking foes.
Magaul- It is a grenade Launcher like that from quake 4. The single shots bounce a little after being launched and they do mid-damage after hitting a foe. The charge shot just makes the shot more powerful and the shot expoldes on contact with the first thing it hits and it can cause splash damage, put people on fire if spire uses it.
Judicator- a shotgun for its slow rate of fire. The single shots and chrage shots make it so that you either fire slugs- single shot, or shells- spread shot. It is esenitally a shotgun with two fire modes from other games like alein vs preditor 2. The single shot is good for attacking faster while the charge shot is good to use when firing in close quaters like in hallways. It freezes if Noxus uses it.
Battlehammer- A mortor launcher for its arcing shots and expolding radius. It is just bigger if Weval uses it.
Shock Coil- Similar to a flame thrower but it locks on to the foe and drains their health away real slowly.
Imperialst- A sinper for zooming in shots and power and reload times.
Missles- like the rocket launcher from quake but much weaker and plentiful. They usually do about 8-18 damage each but when samus charges them and fires three in one blast it can do about up to 65 if it hits the foe the right way.
Omega Cannon- like the redeemer from UT but it only kills those in the blast radius and those unprotected from it.
They are toning it down for 3, it was troublesome because it never ran out and you could use it as much as you wanted, they may make it have limited power in Halo 3.
Once my friend animex88 and I were playing on live at is house and it was a team deathmatch to 25 and we were th only 2 people on our team and we were up against 6 people. I did not fire one shot that whole round because these guys we were playing were sumg and they said they would kill us fast but all my friend did was just shoot them sith the sinper and battlerifle while I beat them down with the plasma rifle and sword. I got the 25 kills my friend got 24 when we won these guys were crying to us and said fuck you hackers for making the sword a one hit kill and we just laughed at them because we never even did anything to the game and these guys just sucked.
