If Goku was stronger explain why when he was fighting Fat Buu he came nowere close to winning and buu was getting stronger and stronger with each blow, Goku says he could have won and i belive he could have but it would have been very hard if you think about how mutch time he had left after that fight.

Gohan beats Super Buu without breaking a Sweat and even spars well with Gotenks Buu for 1 round and repells doges and breaks out of some of his moves (take careful note Gotenks in SSJ was ment to be able to beat Fat Buu before he went into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and did a shit Load of training to reach the third level and can handle it with ease were as Goku suffers extream energy loss).

Then they mirge with Super Buu whos weaker form bitch slapped and defeated Fat Buu easy, and Piccolo who new his fighting style well.
