I dont know, if the situation dictates it.....Ive been in some pretty rough fights and a quick snap kick to the balls has saveed me from getting my head stoved in with a bat.
Also if heavily outnumbered or if they are hevily armed, you have to even up the odds somehow. Thats what street fighting is all about. Survival.
I dont agree with kicking someone when their down though, its happened to me several times and is not very sporting at all. Unless the person has tried to shoot you, then i would give a quick kick to the ribs, cause that is not cool. Guns in a fist fight that is. ---

True, but that’s only those circumstances. Though, I’d just grab the bat, rip it out of their hands, and throw it where they can’t get it. Then I’d go back to kicking their asses. ---

I’m craving a fight.
Im always up for a fight. Freindly sparing matches are hard to come by where i live so i just train.
I few years ago i got kicked out of my Muay Thai club for being to brutal. It was a sparring match and we all padded up and protected and we were going at it. After it was over (nobody got hurt and i wasn’t using dirty tactics and was fighting fair) i was told by the instructor i had to go to another club because people there couldn’t stand up to my kicks. Sad huh.
i do feel sorry for them. I try to pull some of the power out of my kicks, but hey, when you kick as hard as i do( im equal with the black dan of the clubs kicking strength, yet when the test was done i was due to be graded for brown singlet), pulling back just isn’t enough.
So 21gamer and anyone else out there, do you have any good/fav conditioning exerises?
My favs are punching and kicking round Permapine/Treated pine logs. They are about the diametre of a dvd/cd disc.
I use a heavy bag to but that has a tendancy to swing too much. ---

I don’t really train. I used to just fight people as my training and exercise to keep me in shape. ---

I wouldn’t try to kill him on the school grounds, but I would beat him senceless around the block. Only in self defence did I ever fight people in school. I would wait for him to push me or strike me, then I’d attempt to snap his arm, in which I did twice and had to spend the night in jail, other then that I’d go for the neck, back, leg, and other parts that would incompasitate him.
As soon as 9/11 happened, I went and joined the Marines, where I learned CQC and CQB. Those two combat forms were desinged to nuetralize and secure your enemies. Over in Iraq and Afganinstan I had about 2 dozen hand-to-hand exsperiences where I used CQC. All of those times I came out without a mark on me, because I learned to control my movements and my enemies.
Here are some links for CQC and CQB:

Ah yes, the MCMAP. Tell me about it. I once pinned a 300+ pound (136 kg approx) man, powerfully built, on the mat with a submission hold (juji-gatame armbar). he had no choice but to tap out. I have a few years experience with Jiu Jitsu/Judo (mostly when I was young I used to compete). It’s been awhile but sure was fun thinking back. I don’t even want to get into my teenage/early-twenties brawls as I’m not proud of them. ---

I take Aikido mixed with Judo, Shinkendo (Japanese Swordsmanship), and Bojutsu (6 foot staff)
Aikido is definitely my favorite. It’s not so much about beating the other guy senseless as it is about causing them enough pain to make them surrender without causing them injury. Usually you twist and pinch nerves or twist joints in positions that aren’t too fun. Usually you’ll stop when they submit. Of course you could always keep going and break their joints =D. We also do some Judo throwing and falling.
Shinkendo is pretty fun too and is actually my strongest art. Mostly we focus on form, not so much on sparring. We do practice alternating between attacking and blocking, but we don’t actually hit each other like in Kendo, just hit each other’s swords. The great thing about Shinkendo is that it isn’t that strenuous. When I first started, I had no strength in my arms to speak of. After 3 months, my upper body strength has increased a LOT. Now I could probably puch hard enough to knock teeth out. I know enough for my next rank too, but won’t be tested until next week.
I’ll leave my neverending ramble there. ---
