Guardian of MvC Rep: 85  Joined: 06 Jan 2006 Posts: 44,448 OFFLINE | I meant generation wise, the games that came on each console. The PS2 had no good RPGs except Final Fantasy 12 and Dragon Quest, 10, 10-2, and XI all sucked so bad it wasn’t funny.
The PS3 has... no Good RPGs right now, FF XIII will probably be the first but that’s only if they don’t screw it up.
The PS1 has Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9, Legend of Legaia, Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms 1 & 2, and... I’m sure there’s more, but I’m too lazy to look at my collection right now. ---

Guardian of MvC Rep: 85Joined: 06 Jan 2006 Posts: 44,448 OFFLINE | Kingdom Hearts III might go to the Wii anyways, after Blue Dragon’s release Square Enix has a major title pretty much exclusive to a certain console except a Nintendo Console. And seeing as how Nintendo is going to be a competitor on the home console market this gen it’s not absurd to think that Square Enix might give Nintendo a high selling title. After all, Nintendo has snagged half of the current KH franchise on their portable systems the DS and the GBA, if Blue Dragon does well on the 360 then we can bet SE will hand KH over to the Wii.
Blue Dragon - Microsoft
Final Fantasy - Sony
Kingdom Hearts - Nintendo
If SE did that then they would have a game to sell to each one of the company’s fans, which means more money to them than if they kept two of their major titles in one company.
Either way, KH will still suck, Wii or not. ---

Pokemon was the first RPG I played and it is still one of my favorates today. I loved final fantasy 1 and 2 on the GBA and that really drew me into the Franchise and I still love FF3 the most current one I have. The GC did get very little RPGs but the ones it did get were good. FEPOR and Tales of Symphoina were two of my favorates of all time. I am waiting to see how the FFCC game for the wii will be. As for my preference of games I loved FPS, TPS, platformers, and action games the most. ---

But you dont care cause you hate it lol! I think FF is the most well known and anticipated of the three and will probably rule the rpg market with an iron fist.

Why not? The controls would probably play similar to Zelda, moving with the nunchuck and swinging your keyblade by swinging the wii remote. It’d work out just fine, might even be easier than with a normal controller.
But If the Wii stays in the gaming Market SE will give it a title at some point because they’re already on really good terms with Nintendo.
