LOL Have you ever drove a car before? I can assure you Excite Truck is nothing like reality driving.
Yes I have, would you like me to scan my Drivers license as proof? It is like driving, with increased sensitivity for turning and with pushing a button instead of stepping on the gas pedal/break pedal.
Anyways, as for the controls on Excite Truck, I found it very difficult to control at first and then everything just clicks and I got the hang of it in a controlled state. I’m almost to Super Excite mode. I have an “S” ranking in all the races except for Scotland on Platinum level which I have an “A” there. I swear I’ve played that one level for over 3 hours straight and I just can’t get an “S” ranking on it. GRrrrrrr!

Alright, my judgement of the controls probably isn’t very fair, because I’ve only played it one time, and that was at gamestop, but it FELT a lot like driving a car that time. 'cept you can’t put one hand on the top of the wheel and drive gangsta style like I do, lol.

BULLSHIT
It’s nothing like driving a car, especially stick shift.
Depends on the game but since most wii games will use the analog stick to move around it makes nor real difference. In racing games we will have to wait and see how they fare.

The closest you can get to realistic driving is a realistic racer on the 360 or PS3 that takes full advantage of the steering wheel and pedal add ons. It is mainly due to the power of the systems and obviously the steering wheel and pedals.
