Whoever said I am involved in gay marriage?
I am naturally against it but if someone is gay and wants to get married I’m not gonna stop them. I just don’t wanna get dragged into it.
Now, them getting a boost I am against. Some laws of marriage and crap will probably have to be changed to even everything out for everyone and it’ll probably have to be called union to help differentiate it and end confusion.

but he would happen to be right, gay marriage goes into religion and everyting and it’s not just about liking or disliking them for being gay. (I’m fine with it though)

21 is correct that the term is considered to be offensive. If you look it up on online dictionaries (for example dictionary.com) it is defined as “offensive slang”. He is also correct about the history of the term. It may not seem like an offensive term, but then the “n” word originally didn’t have an offensive connotation either. It simply meant someone who was “black”. But, the social context of a term makes it offensive.
However, I also have to comment on the other terms brought into this debate. Most people of Jewish descent who are not actually from Israel (in the recent history of their family or born in Israel) call themselves “Jewish” NOT “Israeli”. At least this has been my experience. Also, Judaism is a religion, but being a Jew is a race...
The term “black” is a difficult one. It would be nice to be able to find a suitable substitute term...but then if we start slapping “African-American” on everyone who is “black” then we also run the risk of insulting people who are from an African country, from Jamaica, etc. ---

I haven’t met anyone woh finds being called black offensive, unless used offensively, but you could always avoid insulting someone you could ask for a persons name
