Which is why I say, “PS3 is caught in a cyclical game of “catch-up”". The 360 will always be 1(+) years ahead of PS3.

maybe but all of the 360s specialities have been discovered almost, and no one even started using the ps3s specialities except for better AI and volumetric particles
HMMMMMMM assasins creed on 360 will have better ai that ps3 version

really? where did u hear this

I’m only interested in links, evidence, and trustworthy sources. as I said before, as for right now, no matter how you look at it, Xbox 360 is ahead while PS3 hobbles behind! Until further evidence proves otherwise, shut it!

I think Motor storm is the first ps3 game to really grab full hold of what game makers are able to do now with the ps3 to it’s full advantage now, other ones i’m still skeptical, seems like they were rushed. Right now though, the 360 is better, but i think in the long run, ps3 can get games to look a little better, not by much though.

That’s the general conception people have. I disagree. I think 360 will keep the edge due to Microsoft-developer-tools improving (future XNA versions) which will help developers squeeze every bit of juice out of the 360. Then comes the time to create the Xbox 720 four or 5 years down the road while developers are still dicking around with the PS3 just as they are now with the PS2. By that time, nobody is going to give a rats ass whether “ps3 can get games to look a little better”.

Yes, it looks good, cool teeth, altho i the vids Ive seen, (HD) the detail is lost after the camera pulls back or zooms in. if it had the unreal engine 3, detail wouldn’t be lost from zooming in or looking at it from afar.

no the first one, when it luks at the big canon thing everything seems to have more contrast and distant things are sharper and the frame rate is smoother.
